Sega has actually sunk so low as to sell something based on complete nonsense. "Speech analysis" to detect lying is an idea as dead as phrenology, if perhaps a bit more recent. Is Sega actually claiming this thing is supposed to work? I sure hope this doesn't get released here, and shame on Nintendo for putting their seal of approval on this thing. It only shows their support of this nonsense. What's next Sega? Are you to make a game where people focus their mental powers to alter the results of a random number generator?

That's hilarious.

Sega is dead. But that's something that we've known for a while now, unfortunately...

Of course, since Sega does technically still exist, they COULD come back, but ever since the Sammy merger they've gone so steeeply downhill that even if they wanted to I don't know if they could recover much anymore... maybe. We'll see? It's not that every single game they're making is bad or something (NiGHTS Wii for instance has positive press so far), but overall, they're quite dead.

As for this topic, there's no way that it would work. But the evidence behind "brain training" games really helping your brain stay "younger" is also somewhat sketchy...

Sega's making Nights and Samba de Amigo for the Wii, so I'd say they're beginning to make a come back.
