Ghouls and Ghosts Online... on all 3 consoles! - lazyfatbum - 9th March 2003

Surprisingly enough no one brought up the fact that Ghouls & Ghosts is a 3rd person action adventure which uses close combat for the most part. So how will that translate in to a 2-4 player game or even an online game?

There's no sniper rifles or grenades and there's no locked combat like in a fighting engine. So unless G&G has multiple engines for multipayer modes, I dont see how it would be really fun. Unless they make it in to a Gauntlet type of game where 2-4 players along with online buddies take wave after wave of enemies in giant levels. That would kick ass.

I can see it as a four-player co-op game, but not as a MMOL game.

PSO was a 3rd person action-adventure with close combat for the most part... at least, for hunters, which is what I was. Good, clean fun.

That's what PSO was, and it indeed kicked ass.
