Sadness - Sacred Jellybean - 1st May 2006 I ran a search for "Sadness" and didn't find anything, so I'm assuming no one here knows about this yet. I just found out about it myself 10 minutes ago. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6147534.html Quote:Today came news of a second Revolution game that is definitely not for kids. Polish developer Nibris has announced that it is developing Sadness, a film noir-inspired game for the next-generation platform. Inspired by Sin City? Black-and-white noir graphics? Exclusive development for Nintendo? The? Me likes! *trouser snake Wii masturbation party* Sadness - Great Rumbler - 1st May 2006 Hopefully they'll eventually get a publisher. Sadness - lazyfatbum - 1st May 2006 They dont have a publisher!? that's like developing a game when you dont have a publisher! MADNESS. Actually this is an independent studio making two games for Wii: Sadness and Raid Over the River, the latter being a time-traveling futuristic shooter where you pilot a ship third person. It's been pretty much confirmed that Nintendo will be publishing the titles though i heard there's also talks with Ubisoft, EA and the like. Sadness used to have a different title, but this is the game that talked about using a torch to scare away rats while exploring sewers, or throwing a grapple over a wall to climb it all through the wiimote. it also has some amazing visuals promised from these stills taken from their upcoming E3 presentation video. yes, that is a real woman holding a wiimote, the other pic looks like real time from the game. Sadness - Sacred Jellybean - 1st May 2006 Ahh, so this HAS already been brought to the table. God damn it, NIBRIS, get a publisher. Sadness - Great Rumbler - 1st May 2006 Nintendo's really been talking up the whole concept of giving developers the money if they provide the ideas. This would be a great place for them to start. |
