The only C&C game I own is Red Alert 2 (with its expansion), and they're good, but the C&C style of very fast paced, rush-heavy gameplay just isn't as fun as Blizzard's perfect balance of speed and strategy...

Command & Conquer 3 - Great Rumbler - 19th April 2006

Command and Conquer: Generals was quite fun.

Huh, so it seems like it's going to be Tiberian Twilight... interesting...

C&C1 being Tiberian Dawn, C&C2 being Tiberian Sun, C&C3 being Tiberan Twilight. The serious C&C series.

Red Alert 1/2 is the humor series (the story in RA2 was great... a showcase game for why 2d is still a perfectly fine option for game design and for why FMV can be good when it's done well...).

Generals? I don't know where that game fits...

Actual title is Tiberium Wars, but it should be Tiberian/Tiberium Twilight. :) To fit with the first two and because years back they said that that would be the third C&C game's name, I think... though I'd have to go back to my PC Gamer archives to be sure...

Command & Conquer 3 - Smoke - 25th April 2006

Tiberian Twilight sounds a lot better.

Command & Conquer 3 - A Black Falcon - 25th April 2006

Yes, it definitely does. But should we actually expect EALA to follow up on what Westwood said they would do with the series five or six years ago? Yeah right...

Who wants to bet that this somehow ISN'T the end of the series, as Twilight was supposed to be if I remember things correctly?

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Dawn
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun
Command & Conquer: Tiberium ... Wars? Huh?

... okay, the first game's box just says 'Command & Conquer', but 'Tiberium Dawn' was the subtitle stated somewhere or other...

Also, the expansions follow no naming pattern (Covert Operations for the first game, Firestorm for the second), but that's pretty much irrelevant.

Command & Conquer 3 - Smoke - 26th April 2006

It's EA. We'll be lucky if the game isn't shit on a disc.
