However, something that's interesting to note is that the middle east was much more racially diverse prior to the Arab wave of immigration in the 7th century. Arabs "semitized" a region that was, at the time, populated by a wide range of different peoples (anybody who's ever invaded anything usually ends up in the middle east) including a large number of Greek settlers that came first by boat, and then with Alexander's army. Something I recall reading is that redheads were common in places like Antioch (the capital of the Greek kingdom of Syria), where foreign settlement was most prominent. Now, Jesus assuredly wasn't one of those foreigners, but it's possible that imagining him as a lighter-skinned man wasn't that far-fetched in the early centuries of the church.
Stuff like that is pretty widespread around the Mediterranean - I myself had red hair when I was 2-3 years old, and my great-grandfather (from southern Italy, where most people are squat and olive-skinned) was a full-blown redhead.

n-man, to be Jewish is to be part of the blood lines. it's why it's so difficult for a non-jew to convert which was only alllowed recently (last century or two). to be a jewish man who had pure jewish blood, no greeks, no egyptian, no anything but the blood lines from early mesopotamia and babylon. Ie: negroid who branched off becoming classified as as a cross of ancient negroid and the ice age survivors (caucasion) (loss of permanent pigmentation, then regaining it in the middle east). you're not looking at the total scope, Sargon of Akkad basically started what would be become the jewish people and that only pure blood jews can call themselves as such. jewish people today come in a wide array of colors, but thousands of years ago it was not the case. i agree that settlers moving through the middle east could have been many different colors from all around that known world, but a jew only came in one package, and that package was not white, and Jesus is the king of the Jews, the single man that started the rebelion that would eventually destroy Rome.
In other news, the greeks and therfore the persians are from a slight variant of the middle eastern nomad, slightly lighter and less heavy features in the face. probably caused by a shit ton of inbreeding but asian influence is working theory but it doesnt explain the problems with the interbred features, in that came the blue eyes and blond hair or very light brown/red hair, before that it has not been recorded anywhere on earth. Everyone was dark, everyone had black unmangible hair, and everything pretty much sucked because if you were lucky you lived until you were 5 years old, before being eaten by dragons. all eye colors, skin colors, hair colors, etc that are not dark are either mutations or neccesary alterations in surface genomes to increase survivability in ice age conditions (white skin, more actual fat cells than per norm) and all that fun stuff.
very few nonjews ever went to jeruselum, it was under roman occupation for much of it's life before being sacked by everyone (Rome as well, whore of babylon, etc) but the romans just wanted slaves for construction and made money off the temples through differennt things, specifically the trading of flawless lambs for Roman coins, which is what jesus got so pissed about and threw a tantrum in the temple because he, like most Jews at the time, hated Rome with all their heart for making profit off of traditions and faith.
i know your catholic, so dont dare try to make jesus white. For fuck's sake white is relatively new. he's still just as magical and fairy like all you want regardless of him being white or not. Interesting, I didn't realize that there was that much contraversy over the term 'Caucasian'... I'd have said "people from Europe or the Meditteranean region", and included Middle Easterners in the category, but I hadn't thought of Indians too as Caucasian, though in the broadest definition they are... the most interesting part, though, is how in Europe the term isn't used and instead they use 'White European' instead... and Caucasian for people from the Caucasus...
Anyway, the people of the Middle East are certainly within the broad "Caucasian" group... though of course then you get into the whole debate about what human "races" are anyway and if they really exist, which just confuses everything again.
Anyway, Jesus would have been Middle Eastern/Meditteranean, and not 'white European' as he is usually depicted as. That still makes him Caucasian under some definitions of the term, however, if sometimes not the most commonly used one... but the whole issue of "races" is a pretty contraversial one.

yeah, its confusing when you take the time-line of events in to consideration, since the negroid is the base-structure of human beings everything else is a spin off, for either survival or just 'keeping it in the family' a little too much. of course then you have the respected theory of how during the major ice age, there was less than 10 thousand people on EARTH. so you can imagine that there was a whole lot of inbreeding going on and creating odd structures in the physical human.

Yep, the "negroid" (and wow, that is a term that is about ten nanoseconds away from ostrasizing you from modern society if you don't check every last p and q in all human existance) is the "original" model of humans, back when our species lived in Kenya. Spreading around, our species were isolated. Different traits became advantagous and were selected for around the globe. Today, we have removed the isolation and as a result all these differing traits are being amalganized into a collective genetic pool. It's an interesting genetic history we have. And, those most offended by it (racist hicks) have total ignorance of it.

Very true, although just to see how borderline offensive I can be (since I already know I can piss off thousands at a time, borderline might be interesting for a change), I think lighter skins that adapt to change are..... superior..... to darker skins that do not adapt. In other words, lighter skinned peoples, especially .......white people....... have a huge advantage when it comes to climate extremes and lack of or too much sunlight. Though even with my skin for example, it's darkest peak is still hovering around the light olive range, so in extreme sunlight conditions (ie: Africa), i'd be getting sick often and the darker skinned peoples, especially........ negros....... would have the advantage.

Well there you go. It's all a matter of the situation. There are genes that are better in more situations and worse than others. In evolution, that's actually the majority of gene alterations. Very few are always good or always bad alterations.
