I grew up watching his show, so this is pretty sad for me. He will be missed.

That's awful... that was a good show. :(

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - The Former DMiller - 27th February 2003

Yeah, I read that this morning. Mr. Rogers was my favorite show when I was little, just ahead of Sesame Street. The funny thing is that nobody makes fun of you if you say you watched Mr. Rogers when you were little, although if you say you watched something like Barney the Dinosaur (which I didn't ;)) you'll never hear the end of it. I doubt most kids today know who he is, but I know most people our age will remember him.

They still air his show on PBS. He retired from working on that show just last year.

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - The Former DMiller - 27th February 2003

Yeah, but I just don't think it's the kind of show that kids today would watch. I could be wrong, though.

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - Dark Jaguar - 27th February 2003

I had no idea he was that old! I guess it was silly to assume he is like perpetually 40 or something.

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - OB1 - 27th February 2003

That's ok, DJ. You're special that way.

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - Dark Jaguar - 27th February 2003

Well what did ya expect? I spent like 7 or so goolions in an elven glade! Aging just isn't something I'm used to again yet!

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - Dark Lord Neo - 27th February 2003

First Mr Dressup now Mr Rogers:(
Mr Dressup used to be on a show with Mr Rogers before he moved to Canada to do Mr Dressup, when he died last year Mr Rogers spoke at his funeral, I knew they were about the same age and that that meant Mr Rogers would probably pass on soon

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - EdenMaster - 28th February 2003

Well, I guess he just got stomach cancer diagnosed last Christmas, so it must have really been rough on him.

Poor guy, he'll be greatly missed.

Good bye, Mr. Rogers. - Darunia - 28th February 2003

I was shocked to learn that he was only 74 years old...I thought he was up in his eighties. Seems like he's always been an old man...yet still young, like Dick Clark.

I've never seen his show but I heard alot about him.
to bad mr dress up had to die, passed away just a month after 9/11 . I remeber seeing a comic in the news papper saying were all heroes go. They had mr dressup and the new york fire department all lined up to go to heaven.

mr Rogers looks a great deal like mr dressup.
