Guess what I got? - Weltall - 22nd November 2005

EBay, here I come!

Note the palpable insanity in my eyes. That should tell volumes of how much of a hassle this little money-making adventure was for me.

Guess what I got? - Dark Jaguar - 22nd November 2005

Well congratulations. Someone showed up at the store and didn't get one thanks to that, and someone else will end up paying a lot more than it is worth!

You are pure evil. :D

Guess what I got? - Great Rumbler - 22nd November 2005

I've seen Xbox360's on eBay for over $1500!!!!

Guess what I got? - EdenMaster - 22nd November 2005

Yep, Ryan shared with me his little moneymaking scheme a few days ago.

The world became a slightly eviler place that day...

Only able to procure one, Ryan? I thought you wanted to go for more.

Guess what I got? - TheBiggah - 22nd November 2005

My boss at work put 4 of those baby's on his credit card, figuring he'll make plenty of money to easily have it paid off before any interest accrues.

but..... but

rtan can play PDZ now...... you cant sell something that lets you play the sequel to Perfect Dark...

Guess what I got? - Smoke - 24th November 2005

You got the retard pack. :p

Better eBay it quick. The next shipment shouldn't be too far off.

Guess what I got? - Great Rumbler - 24th November 2005

The next shipment might not be until next year though.

Guess what I got? - EdenMaster - 24th November 2005

I told him he should wait until it's closer to Christmas, when all those desperate gift-givers will pay whatever they must to get a 360.

My, what a nefarious scheme...

Guess what I got? - lazyfatbum - 24th November 2005

ryan post the link for it once it's up. I'll bid on it a few times before it goes in to the quad digits.

Guess what I got? - EdenMaster - 24th November 2005

I'd be interested to see how high the bidding goes as well...

We can make an agreement to boost the price by a few bucks if the winning bid seems too small :D

(Oh great, now I've gone and made this scheme seem not only wrong, but ILLEGAL! Go me!)

Guess what I got? - -JaSon- - 24th November 2005

You people are evil geniuses.

I like it. :D

Guess what I got? - Dark Jaguar - 24th November 2005

There's a small hitch in that plan EM. That hitch is you getting saddled with the bill.

Guess what I got? - Great Rumbler - 24th November 2005

I have no doubt that it will fetch at least $800, if not over a $1000.

Nah, cause then if I do end up with the high bid, Ryan can just put it back up again! Nobody will ever know!

...

*runs away*

Guess what I got? - Dark Jaguar - 24th November 2005

And you both can artificially raise your positive score. Sheer brilliance, and grounds for terminating your accounts!

...

I just came up with a plan! Wait, is blackmail illegal?

Guess what I got? - lazyfatbum - 25th November 2005

...I just thought of a way to get out of blackmail!

Wait.... is murder illegal?

Guess what I got? - Dark Jaguar - 25th November 2005

Eh, who knows? The only problem is finding the victim. I myself have everything under control. It seems someone left a public announcement of their plan, as well as photographic evidence of themselves holding the 360, in some online forum somewheres.

Man... we're like CSI: Game Crimes Devision

Let's make Great Rumbler the forensic pathologist and we'll call him 'E3' for short. We'll say: "What did E3 say about the body?" or "Let's see what E3 thinks". Awesome. I'll do the non-organic tests so i'll be called 'Third Party'. (Like Commander Riker being called 'Number Two') and Darunia can be the short tempered police chief who always says we're wasting time and money even though we always figure out the crimes.

Oh! oh! and we'll always keep people guessing because we'll introduce important characters or evidence in the last 5 minutes of the show so no one can figure out what happened until the end!

We'll search game related websites and message boards for clues and we'll have our own hip internet lingo that people wont figure out until mid-season! Like... we'll call message boards 'squares' and refer to specific game platforms by a meaningless ID tag on a piece of hardware or chipset in the machine. By next season people will catch on that a KJIU7E-WQ-P is code for Game Cube! And we'll call people who commit game crimes 'Rockstars'! Oh! oh! and whenever we find a big clue to the case, we'll do an extreme close up on the object and we'll do a voice over saying "Master using it and you can have this." and we'll hold it above our heads while it glows and spins!

kick ASS!

Guess what I got? - Dark Jaguar - 25th November 2005

That is AWESOME!

Keep in mind I stick with the reenactments of actual crime scenes.

By the way, we need some tool that we use every single time. Detective shows have made "luminol" the most commenly known substance around. What'll be our thing?

Scratch that. Teamxboxers who slipped into the second shipment are reporting they got some calls today to pick up their 360. Also, Microsoft commented they will be shipping more out every week (got to gamespot for the article).

I'd put it for sale very soon, Ryan.
