CGC New Edition #1: Smash TV - N-Man - 22nd August 2005

I figured I'd give this a shot and get it started. It took me a couple tries to get that far, so go on and take your time. I don't think a time limit is appropriate - not until we figure out the level of participation, if any at all. :D

SNES, arcade, what?

CGC New Edition #1: Smash TV - N-Man - 22nd August 2005

NES, like the usual. I don't know if there's any actual difference between the different versions though - if there isn't I suppose one could use whichever version they prefer.

The filetype should tip you off: .NES :p

CGC New Edition #1: Smash TV - Weltall - 23rd August 2005

I need someone to suggest a good NES emulator for me. I used to use Nesticle exclusively but it doesn't work very well on my current machine.

I prefer one that plays well in full-screen mode. I no like windowed programs like this.

Pick one from the top group... FCE Ultra is good, I think.

I use FCE Ultra and have no complaints. You can select fullscreen mode in the toolbar when it starts up.

Yeah, FCE Ultra is the best.

CGC New Edition #1: Smash TV - N-Man - 28th August 2005

So what, are y'all just sucking the big one or is nobody interested?

CGC New Edition #1: Smash TV - A Black Falcon - 14th September 2005

On the completely different Midway Arcade Treasures-Gamecube (arcade) version, my best score is 19,641,380...

... isn't it helpful that this game keeps your score when you get a game over? And that the MAT version has unlimited continues? :D That is, of course, a "completed the game" score.

CGC New Edition #1: Smash TV - Smoke - 12th February 2006

There are a lot of good NES emulators now. FCE Ultra as others have suggested. NESten is good. So is VirtuaNES. NesterJ. Try a few and see which one you prefer.
