Lufia - WhiteFleck - 19th February 2003

The new GBA version caught my attention while I was checking pocketIGN, only because it got delayed. :) However, the game looks pretty darn cool, and I was wondering what you all know about the series. So, uh, what all do you know about the series?

Lufia - Sacred Jellybean - 20th February 2003

All I know is that my sister played the first on Super Nintendo and got incredibly addicted. I played it for a while, too; it was a pretty cool game. It was your average cut and dry RPG... but I don't know if they're using the same formula for the GBA game.

Lufia - OB1 - 20th February 2003

I've been waiting for a good GBA RPG. Golden Sun was gorgeous and the battle system was pretty fun, but the plot was so dull that I just couldn't force myself to finish it. The Breath of Fire games look good, but I've heard that the random battles are a bit overwhelming. And Eternal Blue? I already have the PSX game.

Why won't they give us Magical Vacation??!!! WHY?!!!

*rocks back and forth, crying*

Other than the fact MV is made by Brownie Brown, I don't think it looks terribly interesting. What exactly has you so raptly desiring it?

Lufia - OB1 - 20th February 2003

The art is really nice, the combat system sounded interesting, and it got great reviews. It's also one of the few original GBA RPGs out there. And it's from ex-Seiken Densetsu members. Who wouldn't want to play it??

Lufia - WhiteFleck - 20th February 2003

Hm, I hadn't heard a drop about the battling, all I've seen is the art and a lot of story. Something about a Magical Vacation, I'm sure.

Lufia - Great Rumbler - 24th February 2003

*thwacks Whitefleck for not being interested in Magical Vacation*

MV was one of the first GBA games I really became interested in. It's a shame that it hasn't made it out over here, I wonder if I can find of rom of it somewhere...
