Burnout 2 Interview - The Former DMiller - 17th February 2003

If anybody has questions they would want to ask the developers of Burnout 2 post them here. N-Philes is interviewing them, but we need the questions by tomorrow. I'm asking you guys because I'm sure some of you are fans of the first game and might have some questions you'd like answered.

Ask about the difficulty of programming on the GC, and their satisfaction with the outcome.

Burnout 2 Interview - A Black Falcon - 17th February 2003

Hmm... any changes from the PS2 version to the NGC one (or the X-Box one for that matter)?

Burnout 2 Interview - Great Rumbler - 17th February 2003

How do the three versions stack up against each other in terms of the technincal aspects?

Burnout 2 Interview - OB1 - 17th February 2003

Can you turn off the slow-motion mode whenever you bump into another car? Is there a four-player mode? Or X-Box Live support?

Burnout 2 Interview - Private Hudson - 18th February 2003

There is no slow motion mode in Burnout 2...

Burnout 2 Interview - A Black Falcon - 18th February 2003

He means the instant replays of crashes... you mean to say the're gone?

Burnout 2 Interview - Private Hudson - 18th February 2003

Oh..

You hit the car in front of you (or whatever you hit). It then shows you the crash from a different angle. You then return to play.

No slow motion. No replays.

PH is right. That's why I didn't include OB1's question in the questions I submitted. BTW, thanks for the help guys.

Burnout 2 Interview - A Black Falcon - 18th February 2003

Thats nice... the way it would often do 2 or 3 replays after a crash was both annoying and took up a lot of time you couldn't spare with the time limit the game had...

Burnout 2 Interview - OB1 - 19th February 2003

That's what I was referring to. I hated that in Burnout 1. They should give you the option to turn off that stupid replay every time you touch a car. I know that they were trying to go for something dramatic and movie-like, but when it's done every few seconds it gets really old.
