Quote: Metroid Prime: The Legend of Curly's Gold

I don't get that one... what's the reference?

New Revolution information!! - EdenMaster - 1st April 2005

The sequel to the movie City Slickers had the subtitle "The Legend for Curly's Gold".

I'd have to say I'm looking more forward to Kirby's Drink n Hurl and Star Fox: Disappointment.

City Slickers? Maybe I've heard the name before... some movie?

New Revolution information!! - EdenMaster - 1st April 2005

Yeah, it had Billy Crystal, Jon Lovitz, and was mildly amusing.

New Revolution information!! - Great Rumbler - 2nd April 2005

Man, ABF, you haven't seen ANY good movies.

Hmm...

New Revolution information!! - A Black Falcon - 2nd April 2005

I don't have any interest in seeing every movie ever made...

New Revolution information!! - Dark Jaguar - 2nd April 2005

And honestly, neither of those two movies were that good. Some funny moments I suppose, but even as a kid I really didn't feel like staying in the same room as that for more than I could stand :D.

But, Curly's Gold is a reference all should get at least, no matter HOW obscure!

New Revolution information!! - lazyfatbum - 2nd April 2005

The first one is a good Billy Crystal movie, if you like Billy Crystal.

New Revolution information!! - Great Rumbler - 2nd April 2005

It had Jack Palance in it. Do I really have to say anything else? JACK PALANCE, PEOPLE. Really, he was funny in that movie, the first one anyway. I haven't seen the second one.

This isn't the first time I've said that, though...

New Revolution information!! - The Former DMiller - 2nd April 2005

The first City Slickers was pretty funny, unless you don't like Billy Crystal I guess. The second was mediocre at best. Anyway, pretty funny stuff from the Dorks.
