Quote:Speaking of BIG news, here's some: The effort to save Star Trek: Enterprise just got a huge boost. Three anonymous doners working in the aerospace industry have offered a combined contribution of $3 million. According to their official statement: "We think Star Trek and especially its latest incarnation, Enterprise is the kind of TV that should be aired more often. The people responsible at Paramount think this is just a show and we want to tell them, it is not. We are in the commercial space flight industry and would like to testify that at least one out of two of all the actual entrepreneurs involved in this industry has been inspired by Star Trek; and we are not only good at watching TV sci-fi , we are also good at writing checks, big checks. [EDIT] Enterprise needs to be renewed, for the sake of fan loyalty, for being quality TV, for bringing imagination and hope for a better future to our homes, but over all that, for inspiring us so strongly that we have fought all our adult lives to bring that future closer to our children and to us."

BRAVO! Congrats to everyone at
Save Enterprise, The Enterprise Project and Trek United for keeping hope alive. Click here to read the complete statement at Save Enterprise. Eat that UPN.

Back with more tomorrow. Stay tuned!

That's pretty damned amazing. I never thought there'd be a chance to save the show, but this has given me some hope. Wow.

Holy crap - Great Rumbler - 1st March 2005

Wow, those guys must be big fans of the series.

I guess it's still basically what Paramount wants to do though, right?

Holy crap - OB1 - 1st March 2005

Yes, and since they are retards...

Holy crap - Great Rumbler - 1st March 2005

Still, would they really want to pass up 3 million dollars?

Holy crap - A Black Falcon - 4th March 2005

Yes.

Holy crap - Great Rumbler - 4th March 2005

Yeah, they probably would.

Holy crap - OB1 - 4th March 2005

Holy crap - A Black Falcon - 4th March 2005

Brutal.

Holy crap - OB1 - 4th March 2005

totally

Holy crap - Dark Jaguar - 4th March 2005

Why is mini-Zangief jumping out of some bushes to pile drive some little kid? Also, he must be pretty weak... I mean, that's all the force of a cat jumping on some kid... I mean, it's like someone just took a home video of a kid being attacked by a cat and pasted a Street Fighter character over it. I'll tell you this, I'm pretty sure that Pocket Fighter got totally murdered about 3 seconds later by the kid's parents.

Holy crap - OB1 - 4th March 2005

Holy crap - Great Rumbler - 16th March 2005

No kidding! It deserved at least another 10 seasons.

Holy crap - OB1 - 16th March 2005

There's an mst3k club at CSU. They show movies every week. Lots of people come. The guy in charge (or who used to be, at least) used to write for Nintendojo.

Holy crap - Smoke - 14th April 2005

UltraMarioMan Wrote:And Angel.
Preach it! Although I heard there's going to be a graphic novel that shows what happened after the last episode.

Holy crap - A Black Falcon - 14th April 2005

It's not like it matters, Enterprise is dead...

Holy crap - Smoke - 15th April 2005

Also there's that whole sucking thing.

Holy crap - Dark Lord Neo - 15th April 2005

I reallyl ike Star Trek, but they should just let Enterprise die.
I think the franchise needs to take a break, over the last 16 years they've oversaturated teh market. Maybe after a 5 or 6 year break they'll be ok and people will be ready for more.
