The Legend of Zelda DS - Great Rumbler - 25th March 2004 Quote:The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker director Eiji Aonuma yesterday confirmed in his GDC presentation that there the sequel of Wind Waker will be showcased at the upcoming E3 in May. He will from now on also be acting as the producer for the upcoming Zelda titles. However, we were guaranteed that Shigeru Miyamoto will still have the final say when it comes to the Zelda series. I wonder what they can do with a Zelda game and two screens... TINGLE TUNER! Also some other stuff we can't possibly imagine! The Legend of Zelda DS - OB1 - 25th March 2004 Hahaha, that'd be awesome!! I love it how they gave Wind Waker 2 a release date of "2XXX". That means we'll see it within the next 996 years!!! WOOO!!!! If it's not playable at E3 then don't expect it out this year, not even in Japan. If it's just a MM-type sequel then it should be finished this year, but Miyamoto did mention that it would be quite innovative and different from past Zelda games. Hmm... And Zelda DS? Will that conflict with their plans to release the Capcom-developed original GBA Zelda game soon? It has to have been in development for several years already. I hope it doesn't get pushed back. :( The Legend of Zelda DS - Dark Jaguar - 25th March 2004 Wouldn't it though? Also, I thought they said 200X, or 20XX, eh but it's all the same. Point is, we'll have robots fighting for justice when it comes out! Rush Jet! The Legend of Zelda DS - OB1 - 26th March 2004 Nope, they said 2XXX: ![]() The Legend of Zelda DS - A Black Falcon - 26th March 2004 Hedging their bets for when it'll be released, are they... :D The Legend of Zelda DS - OB1 - 26th March 2004 I know, it's pretty ridiculous. They're covering their backs for the next 996 years! The Legend of Zelda DS - OB1 - 26th March 2004 Nintendo is so damn weird. I love 'em! ![]() The Legend of Zelda DS - A Black Falcon - 26th March 2004 ... what the heck? Is that supposed to be intelligible? :D The Legend of Zelda DS - OB1 - 26th March 2004 Hehe, if you know the context of the picture. From ign's Aonuma GDC speech: Quote:The first thing I want to tell you about in my discussion of Zelda-esqueness is an extremely important process that is incessantly connected to Zelda development and that is something I call the "Miyamoto Test," also known as "upending the tea table". The Legend of Zelda DS - A Black Falcon - 26th March 2004 Yes, that does explain it nicely... :) The Legend of Zelda DS - OB1 - 26th March 2004 Well it does... The Legend of Zelda DS - Dark Jaguar - 26th March 2004 Haha, I thing Shiggy would LOVE our Shiggies! I am SO sending in that pic of him as Willy Wonka now! The others we should consider for the awesome award are: Steve Irwin Colin Mockery That's it... The Legend of Zelda DS - Great Rumbler - 26th March 2004 Here are some more: -Bruce Cambell -Bo Jackson [you knew that was coming!] The Legend of Zelda DS - Dark Jaguar - 26th March 2004 They should all form an elite ethnically diverse super hero fighting team, saving the environment or some such thing, and maybe they are all wearning magic rings, only they are invisible so they don't know they are wearing them. Also they can't feel the rings. |
