what a fucktard I hope he dies of a heart attack.!

Wheres the responsibility in that , If I swallowed a jar of salt and died of dehydration its still my fault not the salt company.

Stupid... but the guy does have a point that he shouldn't have gotten four years of free cable. :)

Worst law suit ever? - Dark Jaguar - 8th January 2004

So the guy illegally stole cable (knowing exactly that he wasn't paying for it, he could, you know, JUST NOT HOOK IT BACK UP), and is actually saying it's the company's fault? Sure the company is obviously incompetant, but since when is that an excuse for theft?

They cancelled his service, and he was fully aware of it. They just never got around to actually dicconnecting it. Yes, they were iditos to do it, but it's obviuosly theft for him to do this. Don't get all semanticy on me. He knew exactly what he was doing. If he didn't know the service was cancelled, it would be one thing, but he did. BE sure.

Is it theft when you tell them to disable it but they don't? I'm not so sure...

Worst law suit ever? - alien space marine - 8th January 2004

That actually happen to me were I got a year of free cable after we canceld it, But they are stupid not to disconnect it after a year.
I dont think any company could press any charges for it , It would be like leaving a cookie in your mailbox and then when you eat it they slap a lawsuite on you.

But in regards to him sueing I can say he may be right about the fact the Tv influeinced them(except the drinking and smoking part), But they are still responsible to tell the company to get rid of it and even remind them. If they did complain twice a month or once a week to get rid of the thing maybe they could win this lawsuite, but if they did not do it at all for the last 4 years they are just as guilty to their own actions and brought it apon themselves.

To me what you eat is your responsibility and I think what you do is also your responsibility.

Stupidest. Asshole. Ever.

TV clearly influenced the guy, but he doesn't have much of a case for that. It makes about as much sense as the people suing McDonald's for making them fat... sure, it influenced you, but you can turn it off or not go there! And as for the rest of his case... well, this is the first time I ever heard of someone suing for getting FREE CABLE. :)

The guy is just blaiming other people for his and his families mistakes.

When I reread his demand for "three computers" Is what made me wont to kill him.

If he gets a single cent out of that, my last shreds of faith in the American government will have be cast off.
