Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 1st January 2004 Yes, another weird Cube game which may more more likely may not come out here... http://www.the-magicbox.com/game122503d.shtml (click! A bunch of screenshots too!) Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 1st January 2004 Yeah, I doubt that it'll come out here. Too bad since it looks pretty cool. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 1st January 2004 It looks interesting... the graphics look very, very cartoonish, but that doesn't say much about the gameplay because it's Japanese. But yes, it is just too "kiddie" looking to come out here... like several other games we could mention... :( Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 2nd January 2004 What about Harvest Moon? That's "kiddie". Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Great Rumbler - 2nd January 2004 That does look weird, but kind of cool, though. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Harvest Moon has been released here and has a proven audience. This doesn't... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Great Rumbler - 2nd January 2004 What about Animal Crossing? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 2nd January 2004 Or the first Harvest Moon? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Sure, plenty of "kiddie" looking games come out here... but traditional RPGs that look like this? I mean, Animal Crossing is a The Sims-style game, Harvest Moon is a simulation too... but this game's a standard RPG that looks like that. We don't get those... and even in the sim genre we don't get them all. Just see Giftpia... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 2nd January 2004 I wish we'd get Giftpia... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Yeah, it looks cool in that really odd way. Exactly like the kind of thing that wouldn't sell here... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 2nd January 2004 Like Vib Ribbon. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Who? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 2nd January 2004 It's a game. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Then... what? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Great Rumbler - 2nd January 2004 Isn't Giftpia supposed to come out here, though? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 2nd January 2004 I dunno... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Great Rumbler - 2nd January 2004 I'm pretty sure it is. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Yeah, it comes out next month, right after they release Magical Vacation and Sin & Punishment for the N64... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Great Rumbler - 2nd January 2004 Ha! You questioned me and as it turns out I am positively absolutely 100% SPOT ON!!! http://www.cube-europe.com/game.php?gid=giftpia Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 But it's been out for a long time in Japan and we haven't heard a word of the thing in like six months, as that proves... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Great Rumbler - 2nd January 2004 Look...don't question it...okay? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004 Just don't be surprised if it doesn't come out here. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - Dark Jaguar - 2nd January 2004 Is it just me or do all those characters look somewhat... untrustworthy? Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 3rd January 2004 Haha, GR sure showed ABF! *high fives GR* ABF, just because they haven't said anything about it since the first announcement doesn't mean that it's not coming. Remember that this is the same company that has yet to release one single direct-feed video of Metroid ZM, even though it's out in a month. Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - A Black Falcon - 3rd January 2004 True, but GB games generally get less publicity than Cube ones... Homeworld: Chunsoft's Weird Cube RPG - OB1 - 3rd January 2004 It's still really stupid of them. |
