Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 29th December 2003

Dr. No is a magnificent classic...what isn't there to love? Awesome exotic locales, campy 60's sets, Ursula Andress is hot...Sean Connery, come on![/b]

From Russia With Love is a bit gritty and cold, but very good and very exciting...better than any of the ones made in the past 13 years.

I don't know why, but I hate Goldfinger...everyone loves it, I just don't, inexplicably. It just doesn't do anything for me...Honor Blackman isn't that good-looking, either.

Thunderball was alright...in the middle.

YOLT was very good, and is one of my favorites. Awesome ending action scene.

OHMSS is good, but long and drawn out (longest Bond film of all; almost 2 1/2 hours) and is so sad. I read the book just before seeing the movie for the first time in 5 years, and I realized how much better the book was...but it was still a good movie. Slow at times.

Diamonds are Forever was cool, too...alas, nothing all that special about it.

I don't care so much for Live and Let Die, but it's alright.

The Man with the Golden Gun was my favorite when I was in fifth grade, (I even fashioned a "golden gun" from wood!), but in recent years, it's dropped into the middle-gray area. Christopher Lee is a great actor, though.

TSWLM is one of the best films of all time...got Jaws, Barbara Bach...huge battles, awesome locales, campy 70's music...aw man, heaven.

My current favorite is Moonraker. Got Jaws again...Venice, Rio de Janeiro, France...Lois Chiles...awesome everything, thrilling climax. Super bit awesome hit movie...en epic.

For Your Eyes Only is another one of my favorites. Love the Greek settings.

I don't think of Octopussy as that good of a Bond film; but it's alright. Using Maud Adams again was just a bad call.

A View to a Kill is cool....got Christopher Walken...

One of my favorites is The Living Daylights. I just love everything about it...fun, exciting...

License to Kill was just dark and disturbing, but not altogether a bad Bond.

GoldenEye is the only Brosnan film I like.

Tomorrow Never Dies didn't do much for me.

The World is Not Enough was a bad videogame, and a mediocre Bond film. Denis Richards is one of the hottest Bond girls ever, though...but the plot and everythingelse is just so stereotypical and lacklustre.

Die Another Day sucked...by far the worst, and just plain wful. This comes from a full-fledged Bonaholic, who's seen them all 5x...and that is bad. Bond is a secret agent...not a fucken super action hero. That whole giant space laser chasing him across Iceland was ridiculous...belongs in a sci-fi flick. Also, the hot blond Icelandic girl was so much better-looking than Halle Berry. SHE should've been the bond girl.

Die Another day was good for having North Korea , I thought the begining was exciting, Halle berry was a crap Bond girl I must agree but not the worse. The Icarus light reflecting satelite was actually based on a real invention by the soviet union to bring sun light to darken siberia but that satelite was scraped due to costs and results.I dont see were DAD was anymore action packed then goldeneye or moonraker.

Uh, yup, that about sums it up for me to. 'Cept I've also seen The World Is Not Enough, but I thought Goldeneye was better.

Favorite Bond! - The Former DMiller - 29th December 2003

I thought Die Another Die was a decent Bond movie. Halle Berry wasn't the typical Bond girl, but even though it had been done before in Bond I like seeing the female lead be a strong character. I thought the locations were pretty good, but most Bond movies generally have good locations. DAD had extremely varied locations which is what I really liked. I really like Brosnan as Bond, although he'll never touch Connery, but the middle two Brosnan movies were just horrible. I don't really attribute it to Brosnan, though, since they just had really awful plots. I liked the plot of DAD which is why I enjoyed it more than the other two, and of course Goldeneye had a great plot and was more of a classic Bond film with a modern edge to it.

Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 30th December 2003

DAD was the worst by far. Bond was captured, for what two years? That's just pathetic and lame. And I hate the new M... even if you liberal nazis insist it be a woman, it doesn't have to be a viciously sarcastic asshole. Halle Berry isn't all that attractive to me. You like Bond girls who are large-and-in-charge? That's been over done. Virtually every Bond Girl since the 70's has been a hot shot, trying to compete with Bond to see who wears the pants. DAD was just by far too science-y. Bond used to be about stealth, brutal fist fights, suspense, and occasionaly a gun fight with a pistol. TSWLM improved upon that with it's epic formula...but more recently, it just gets dumb. He virtually ALWAYS has a machine gun, and kills 650 people per movie. The gadgets are ludicrous now. His first gadgets were, what...a suitcase that held a detonating tear gas cartridge! Now he has the fucking Death Star in the trunk of his Aston Martin. They need to simplify, and stop being so ridiculous.

Favorite Bond! - The Former DMiller - 30th December 2003

Well, I'm not saying DAD was great, but I did think it was a nice twist on the Bond series. It showed Bond wasn't invincible when he was captured, and I liked him losing his 00 status and going somewhat solo (even though that had also been done before). And I don't care what you say, I think Halle Berry is hot. Not the best of the Bond girls, but she sure is far from ugly. I know DAD isn't like the classic Bonds, but that's what I liked about it. I would like to see them move back more towards the classic Bonds with the next one, though. Goldeneye was the perfect mix between modern action and classic Bond and I think that's what they should be going for.

Favorite Bond! - OB1 - 30th December 2003

What's wrong with him getting caught and inprisoned for two years? It adds a touch of realism to the series.

And Moonraker was alright up until they went to space and the whole super-lame laser stuff started.

Favorite Bond! - Fittisize - 30th December 2003

Quote:Halle Berry isn't all that attractive to me.

Wha...wha??? You are now officially a homosexual.

Favorite Bond! - A Black Falcon - 30th December 2003

I agree, the 'outer space with laser guns' part of Moonraker is really dumb.

Favorite Bond! - alien space marine - 31st December 2003

Moonraker was cheesy and also unrealistic. Some orbital station that big would have taken decades to build and even if they could jam radars, Some observatory would have spotted them.

Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 31st December 2003

Moonraker > DAD. It was indeed not so realistic in the end...but how realistic is it to see Bond out running a huge fucking sun beam from outer space? GOD that was lame. Also, Moonraker's cool Rio de Janeiro, French, Californian and Venetian locales were all cool. If you think Moonraker was fake and lame, must I remind you of the end of Live & Let Die, when the black guy inflates like a balloon and explodes when he hits the ceiling? AND I LIKED THE LAME MOONRAKER finale!

Halle Berry is ugly.

GoldenEye was indeed a good mix between old and new Bonds, DMiller.

Favorite Bond! - alien space marine - 31st December 2003

Notice that bond movies always have some giant orbital death star in each movie?

I wonder if Pierce Brosman will come back in another Bond movie?

Favorite Bond! - The Former DMiller - 31st December 2003

Brosnan has said he's going to do one more and then he's done.

Favorite Bond! - OB1 - 31st December 2003

They should really get Clive Owen to be the next bond. If any of you have seen Croupier you'll know what I'm talking about.

And how can any sane man not find Halle Berry attractive?

Favorite Bond! - Fittisize - 31st December 2003

Replace 'sane' with straight.

"How can any straight man not find Halle Barry attractive?" You're right, it's impossible. Darunia is gay.

Favorite Bond! - alien space marine - 31st December 2003

Sees Darunia eating a bowl of "Fruitloops" stares at Rainbows and then makes gay love to a picture of Peter Griffin.

Favorite Bond! - OB1 - 31st December 2003

There there, kiddos, the man is in enough pain for not liking beautiful women! Don't rub it in.

I only kid, Darunia.

Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 2nd January 2004

*Declares formal state of war on Alien Space Marine; Fittisize. Places sanctions against OB1.*

I like Drew Barrymore, Heather Graham, Denise Richards... but Halle Berry doesn't do it for me. (And no, despite you're snickering, it has nothing to do with race. I've seen good-looking black women before, and Halle Berry is not one of them.)

Favorite Bond! - OB1 - 2nd January 2004

Favorite Bond! - alien space marine - 2nd January 2004

Favorite Bond! - -iLluSiON- - 2nd January 2004

Should have stopped making Bond movies after Sean Connery. The end.

BTW folks. Darunia on New Years Eve told 2 girls that were kissing to stop. Tells you what he knows.

Favorite Bond! - alien space marine - 2nd January 2004

Darunia eats fruitloops!

"fruit" loops.

Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 2nd January 2004

*Goron army (190,000 troops, 34,000 cavalry, 800 pieces of artillery) takes the fields outside of Goron City. It is opposite the Coalition of Fucking Idiots Army (260,000 troops, 42,000 cavalry, 1,200 pieces of artillery; led by Fittisize and Alien Space Marine.*

*At 9:30am, Darunia begins his rolling barrage salvo*

*Fittisize's II Corps (35,000 men) begins to advance on the Goron right flank, noting it's precarious position. Darunia feints weakness here, and draws the flank back. Fittisize moves six corps towards the repressing flank, only to be driven back when Goron cavalry and artillery surprises him from prepared positions*

*By 10:00am, 12,000 Fittisize dead litter the field. He orders a sortie of his heavy cavalry to charge the Goron center, but the Goron units hold fast, and repell the charge with heavy losses*

*Alien Space Marine defecates on the field*

*Goron VII Corps (40,000 men) and I Corps (37,000 men) both move in unison with 10,000 Goron heavy cavalry on the idle left Coalition of Fucking Idiots flank at 10:50am. The fighting is intense. Fittisize loses concentration; deploys much strength here, and fends off the attack; only to have weakened his right flank. 24,000 Goron cavalry, in a tumultuous charge, completely smash and rout this flank, and proceed to brilliantly outflank the Coalition position. The enemy center and left flank begin to disperse.*

*By 11:15, Darunia orders a general advance; all divisions advance in turn*

*At 11:25, Fittisize abdicates the field with his staff*

*At 11:30, Alien Space Marine orders a retreat, which turns to a complete rout.*

*Darunia claims the field; littered with 64,000 coalition dead, and some 500 Goron wounded.*

Erm

Favorite Bond! - A Black Falcon - 2nd January 2004

Why...

Favorite Bond! - Fittisize - 2nd January 2004

I don't know how you would be able to pull off telling two chicks to stop kissing in a way that you wouldn't look like a complete idiot and fool.

"Um...could you please stop. It's making me uncomfortable."

he was DRUNK too. what a shame.

Oh. Well I guess you do a lot of stupid shit while you're drunk.

Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 3rd January 2004

Explanation: A party staged by two girls varying from "cute" to "hottest girl ever born". They invite all boys. They invite all boys, of which none (including Illusion) have a girlfriend. They in turn make a spectacle simply to inflate their egos when they get hooted at. I for one do no promote anyone's ego getting such an augmentation. It was a stunt for attention and nothing more, and if I'd been a simple-minded moron and rooted for the 17 year-olds, it would've been self-humbling.

Ugh, why bother. My advanced Goron logic is lost on these pathetic humans.

Favorite Bond! - A Black Falcon - 3rd January 2004

That doesn't help your case. :)

Favorite Bond! - alien space marine - 3rd January 2004

Maybe the fact you believe you are a nintendo character is what turned them off.

Favorite Bond! - Fittisize - 3rd January 2004

Haha! That'd be funny if he said that, too.

"My supreme Goron intellect is much too sophisticated for your inferior human parties!" And then storms off.

But not until threatening to return with 120,000 Goron infantry, 45,000 Goron cavalry, and 700 pieces of artillery, complete with naval and air support.

Favorite Bond! - Darunia - 8th January 2004

"explaination"...? "illiminated...?" If my quote-unquote "explaination" (sic) had mistakes which make me an idiot, your typos must make you a full-pledged, flaming moron.
