Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 10th December 2003 It's a few days old, but why not post it anyway, it's not like much is going on here... http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/zeldafourswords/news_6085196.html Quote:Nintendo bundles Zelda: Four Swords up Zelda: Four Swords Plus - The Former DMiller - 10th December 2003 I've actually gotten a little more interested in this with the mysterious changes and the fact that they are bundling the games together. Four Sword sounds like it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun, and I'm a lot more interested in it than I was at E3. The adventure portion of it sounds intriguing; kind of similar to the mysterious RPG mode in Pokemon Colesseum. I'm glad they took Tetra out and replaced her with Navi. Although I don't really like either character, Navi will be more recognizable to people who haven't played Wind Waker, and she was made to be annoying in the first place so she'll fit into the game perfectly. I'm still not too psyched about Navi's Trackers, but I don't know all that much about it either. I am really intrigued by the Shadow Battle, though, mostly because we know absolutely nothing about it. I wonder if it will be in anyway similar to the battle in Ocarina of Time with Link's shadow. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 10th December 2003 Yeah, with this it defintely is sounding a lot more interesting... FS Cube looked okay before, but this sounds much better. "Extensive single player modes"? A way for someone without a GBA to play Hyrule Adventure? And three games in one package? Sounds great! Zelda: Four Swords Plus - OB1 - 10th December 2003 I already reported this here. The only new news is that it's now called Navi's Trackers instead of Tetra's Trackers. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 10th December 2003 Well that's news. And anyway, if you read this article you'll see that it goes into much greater detail about what is actually in the games. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - OB1 - 10th December 2003 But worth a whole new thread? Methinks not. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 10th December 2003 Well if you wanted it in your thread you could have put this report there two days ago when it was made... :) Zelda: Four Swords Plus - Dark Jaguar - 10th December 2003 Dark Link in OOT? Pfft. Shadow Link in Zelda 2 was MUCH cooler! Zelda: Four Swords Plus - MgL - 10th December 2003 Warp Pipe support would be the selling point for me here... Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 10th December 2003 Hmm... good question, will it be a LAN game? I doubt it... :( Zelda: Four Swords Plus - OB1 - 10th December 2003 No, I don't think we'll ever see a GBA connectivity game with LAN support on the 'cube. Quote:Well if you wanted it in your thread you could have put this report there two days ago when it was made... It was basically the same report as before! Zelda: Four Swords Plus - OB1 - 10th December 2003 Oh and I don't know if you reported on this yet (I'm too lazy to read your post), but you won't need a GBA to play the multiplayer modes. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 10th December 2003 Quote:The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords was announced at E3 as one of the two Zelda titles that will take advantage of the GameCube's connectivity with the GBA. Now called The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Adventure, the game uses the TV as the field map, and the GBA display as the action screen when walking into buildings or caves. For players without a GBA, the in-field view will be displayed on a separate window on the TV screen. Up to four players can participate in Hyrule Adventure. This is new info, OB1... read it. Oh, and I would have put it in your thread, but it'd been so long since anyone had posted there that I forgot there was one... Zelda: Four Swords Plus - Great Rumbler - 11th December 2003 I know I'm getting this. Quote:but you won't need a GBA to play the multiplayer modes. That's cool. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 11th December 2003 Yes, doesn't it sound like a great collection of games now? Zelda: Four Swords Plus - Great Rumbler - 11th December 2003 Yeah, this is much better than selling them all seperately. In fact, I probably wouldn't have bought any of them if they had. Zelda: Four Swords Plus - A Black Falcon - 11th December 2003 Yeah, I very much doubt I would have either, given how none of them appear to really be full games... |
