Best animated shows of the '90s - Great Rumbler - 30th October 2003

I'll start out by listing some of my favorites and I'll post more as people bring them up.

Best animated shows of the '90s - Dark Jaguar - 30th October 2003

You forgot Ren & Stimpy.

Wait, did anyone besides me see that one Cartoon Cartoon where this idiot has a talking dog and the dog seems strangely sophisticated? No, not family guy, but the idiot man and the dog had the SAME voices as Brian and Peter. Same art style, but different characters. I do believe they first tried to make something like Family Guy on Cartoon Network before Fox got ahold of them, and it was hilarious! Had the same joke style too!

Kid: Wow can I fly the plane?

Pilot: Well, it's horribly unethical and is needlessly endangering the lives of everyone on board, but it is your birthday son so what the heck.

*plane crashes*

Pilot: Now Jimmy look what you've done.

Jimmy: Aww... sorry dad....

Pilot: Ah, I can't stay mad at you. Come on let's go get some ice cream.

Best animated shows of the '90s - Laser Link - 30th October 2003

I told you not to even bring this one up. At least we have a unanimously correct opinion.

Best animated shows of the '90s - Dark Jaguar - 30th October 2003

Best animated shows of the '90s - A Black Falcon - 30th October 2003

Ninja Turtles! :)

Best animated shows of the '90s - Darunia - 31st October 2003

I really liked Animaniacs amd Tiny Toons, but Ren & Stimpy was s original...did so much and asked so little. Good times, in 2nd grade...

Best animated shows of the '90s - OB1 - 31st October 2003

Pfft, you forgot to add Batman: The Animated Series. Although I think we should make this a strictly comedy cartoon-only poll. That way I can vote for SG.

But then where's Dexter's Lab?? Johnny Bravo has nothing on Dexter!

Dexter's Lab is funny, but I think Johnny Bravo's barely edges it out.

I remember that cartoon! And, yes, it was very funny!

Brian: *waves around lamp with high powered light and speaks with a Darth Vader voice* Luke, this is your landlord, you still haven't returned my lawnmower!

Best animated shows of the '90s - OB1 - 31st October 2003

No, death be to thee, Dexter-hater!!

Best animated shows of the '90s - Great Rumbler - 31st October 2003

How can you take "Dexter's Lab is funny" to mean "I hate Dexter's Lab it's such a dumb show I hope the creators die in a car wreck!111!1!!"?

Best animated shows of the '90s - Dark Jaguar - 31st October 2003

Now now, it's OB1. His ways are mysterious and filled with pudding. Mmm... pudding....

Anyway, yes that was hilarious! I still want to know what "Brian" said to that one clerk in that department store (only his owner understood him, everyone else heard barks).

Nope, Samurai Jack is from this decade.

Best animated shows of the '90s - Great Rumbler - 1st November 2003

Now that we've done toons from the 80's and 90's what else is there? We can't do toons from the pre-80's since about the only ones we know of are Scooby Doo and the Looney Toons, we can't do new millenium for 6 more years, and not many people here watch very much anime.

Quote:I love cartoons.

Everybody loves cartoons! Even crazy, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Ill loves cartoons!!

Best animated shows of the '90s - A Black Falcon - 1st November 2003

What about beast wars? It was the decendant of the original transformer series,It had cool 3d CG graphics.

Best animated shows of the '90s - A Black Falcon - 2nd November 2003

Beast Wars was okay... not as good as the original, but okay. :)

Best animated shows of the '90s - Geno - 6th November 2003

No South Park? For shame! I voted Animaniacs though... gotta love those little critters. Tiny Toons was cool too. Actually, a lot of those cartoons were good. Ahhhh, the nostalgia...
