Nintendo begins huge advertising campaign. - Great Rumbler - 30th September 2003 Finally!! Quote:This fall Nintendo of America is asking gamers of all ages in a new ad campaign "who are you?" The ads showcase a wide range of personalities and characters. More than $50 million will be invested in launching the "who are you?" campaign, part of a total marketing push of $100 million through the end of the year. The "who are you?" idea will be introduced nationwide through cinema advertisements, print ads, billboards in major cities, transit ads, and more. Nintendo has set up a website for it here. Nintendo begins huge advertising campaign. - Great Rumbler - 1st October 2003 What they need is a continuous ad campaign instead of ones that last for about a month or so and then fade away. Nintendo begins huge advertising campaign. - Laser Link - 1st October 2003 Since you are all lazy butts, I'll explain. It's kinda like the Shiggys we made. Except instead of sticking Shiggy's face onto wierd and random people, Nintendo is doing that with all their famous characters. For example, a picture of a boxer in mid-punch, except his right arm has been replaced by Samus's arm. Or Mona Lisa with Peach's face taped in front. Very cool stuff, and something I think would be hilarious to copy. *hint hint* See, the IGN Boards are already all over this!
