That's because you're w-e-i-r-d.

Have some lemon-flavored snowcones, ABF.

I wish it would snow here again just so I could make a big snowball and throw it at ABF.

Ooh, so do I! I say we should all get together in front of ABF's dorm one day and throw a hundred snowballs at his face!

Quote:ABF said: you'll have snow falling maybe a couple times a week while the snow is on the GROUND all the time for several months!

That's usually not true in Colorado, and it can be a nice thing. We usually get a big snowstorm, and then the sun comes out and the snow is gone within 3 days. It makes it nicer for driving, but it makes me sad. I, too, love snow on the ground. When I wa syounger I would literally spend all day outside playing in the snow. I built little igloos and would spend the whole day in there, or having snowball and icicle fights (kids, don't try that at home, even though I did), or playing football in the snow. It was fantastic. I miss that a lot.

In Idaho we would get snow that lasted all winter long, but not here. Well, in the mountains it sometimes lasts until June. And then it's gone for about 3 months!

Yeah Colorado's weather is great. That's also why the snow is that much more of a shock, because it ruins things for about a week. The cold... I hate the cold.

It's not weird. It's called living in a place that gets snow and liking it. A lot of people in Maine (and the rest of New England) would agree with me.

Snow = Good
Heat = Bad

Now, this winter has been kind of weak snow-wise... we had a little and then it melted on Christmas and then we got a little more, but no really big blizzards -- an inch here, half an inch there, several inches once every few weeks... we did have four inches or so yesterday, but that was the first sizable snowstorm in some time. It feels like we used to have more snow but the last few winters have not had as much... it seems as cold as ever, though, so oh well. There's at least a little snow on the ground (though at times the grass is coming up through the snow) in January and February and there's a good amount of snow in December and March and often well into April... though in later March and April it's more like the 'snows and it melts in a few days' thing instead of 'snows and stays for a long time' like it is when it's deeper in winter.

My parents and I were planning on going up to Colorado for the summer of '05, but with my sister's wedding coming up, we may not do it sadly. :(

We were originally going to go in summer '04, but then my parents got the genius idea of postponing it to winter. I told them that we'd be snowed out, but it wasn't until winter actually arrived that my parents realized I was right, so they postponed it once again to summer of '05. Now I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever be able to go.
