My dog and cat both use the bathroom outside. You just gotta train 'em right.

My chihuahua wrestles with me too, and it's just out of fun. She's a smart dog, chihuahua or not. She's actually gentler than my cat. My cat doesn't mean to, but he claws a lot, and doesn't really seem to care that he does. Not that that's a big setback, I still like my cat. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so I like them both.

I used to have around fifteen cats and dogs. All stray. Well they just came over every so often to get food and stuff. That was a pretty cool part of being in Croatia.

I have two cats, Perseus and Napoléon, and a 15 year-old dog named named Blackie. Guess what color Blackie is.

Why do I get the feeling that you named those cats?

Chicken or turkey? - OB1 - 9th May 2003

Hahaha... boy, Darunia is one person I would never want to meet in person. I bet he has a Napolean complex and walks around in a Napolean hat.

Chicken or turkey? - Dark Jaguar - 9th May 2003

Yeah, trying to make up for being 1 inch tall by taking over the world.

Chicken or turkey? - OB1 - 9th May 2003

I bet that's actually the case.

Chicken or turkey? - Sacred Jellybean - 9th May 2003

Cats > Dogs. They're cleaner, smell better, and don't shit all over the house. They're self-sufficient, too. You just have to feed-em and change their litter. They don't require walking or bathing or someone to personally kneel and clean up their shit. They don't stink up the house, and they're cute and cuddly and affectionate and friendly (well, my cat is).

Dogs... are loud, stinky, stupid, and obnoxious.

Cats are like pet rocks. You can't do anything with them.

Excuse me, pet rocks that eat and crap.

Kitties sleep on you, and lick you sometimes, and pur, and play, and man your secret underground WMD factory, and bathe in the sun, and and just as pwitty as a button!

As a matter of fact, yes I did name both animals. On the other hand, I am NOT 1" tall!

*Declares formal state of war on world to prove it*

Sacrifices turtle and crab and summon crab turtle.

CT Crushes Darunia in half and pounds him.

OB1, you must be around strange cats because our cats have all liked being petted... at least if they are in places where they like it. One of our cats does like being petted more than the other... but its not like they are immoblile lumps. They react. Ignore you sometimes, sure... but not every time... and each one has its places where it will always be nice and friendly.

And no walks, baths, or dealing with any pooper scoopers...

Chicken or turkey? - OB1 - 10th May 2003

I've had around two dozen cats during the span of my life. I like 'em, but you simply can't compare them to dogs since you can't play with them like that.

Chicken or turkey? - A Black Falcon - 10th May 2003

I don't like pets jumping all over me. Its much better when they sit next to you and just let you pet them.

Chicken or turkey? - Dark Jaguar - 10th May 2003

Of course you can play with them, but it has to be hunt related, and you can't just roll around with them.

Chicken or turkey? - A Black Falcon - 10th May 2003

I don't even let our cats sit in my lap...

Chicken or turkey? - Darunia - 10th May 2003

Cats and dogs are both great, but if you won't accept that, I'll hafta send my army of trained fighter cats after you.

Chicken or turkey? - Dark Jaguar - 10th May 2003

I love cats, and I like dogs too. They are both great examples of life forms. While cats are designed specifically for hunting, and thus are superior when it comes to that, dogs have some hunt design as well as design for other sorts of survival traits as they are more generalists. So it's either the specialist that is the cat, or the generalist that is the dog. Can't really go wrong.

Living on the mean streets of Croatia my cat Sammy became a hardened warrior-cat. He'd always come home with battle scars and blood on his claws. He could probably beat up most lions.

I always call Perseus a warrior cat--he has a metal pin in his hip, he's had stitches twice, is thin and boney, always crawling with ticks, is missing several claws... I think he wrestles with foxes at night.

Guinea pigs > hamsters/gerbils

Chicken or turkey? - alien space marine - 14th May 2003

I got bitten by a cat once, I got so pissed off I strangled him and then put him back on the ground. He never bite me again , Actually he kind of cuddled me after that experience.

I can't really say what my opinion on the matter would be since I haven't had much experience with guinea pigs. I remember by aunt once had one named Oscar, and it was better behaved than my hamster Pixie. My other hamster, Bijou, is nice though. I'd say she's just as good as Oscar was.

Chicken or turkey? - Darunia - 15th May 2003

Guine pigs are the tribbles of the real world. They coo and vibrate when you pet them. :)

Chicken or turkey? - A Black Falcon - 15th May 2003

We had a guinea pig once... it was alright, but they don't exactly do much. :)

Chicken or turkey? - alien space marine - 16th May 2003

Chicken or turkey? - Darunia - 16th May 2003
