Because they realize that they'll make a shitload more cash by re-releasing each game individually. You need look no farther than the Super Mario Advance series to see that. All the SMA games could have fit on one GBA cart fourfold with room to spare.

I guess you're right. We're so used to getting sodomized (legally now) by Nintendo that no one's going to complain.
Pretty much, between the E-Card games and the release of all of Nintendo's best old games one at a time...
