he recently got tough on people spoiling TFT with single player screen shots.He decided to permenantly ban them.
But when does GF draw the line?
I write a post about the new music for TFT, I heard some people who preorderd got a free sound track and I was curious to get a sample. That sounds innocent enough.

It is obvious GF never read my post he just clicked and baned me.
It is unfair that there 15 spoiler threads in both war3 forums as I speak.
I get baned for asking about the music.
Well you see they have rules. Anti-piracy are some of them.
It doesn't matter why you had a third party program running in Diablo II. It'll get you banned whether it was you or someone else on your computer...
And making a post about a game that isn't out yet and you could only know details about if you had a pirated copy (which, BTW, escaped a few days ago) on Blizzard's forum? REAL smart...
Sure it might not have gone too far but in a situation like now I can see why they would draw the line more strictly than usual.

The bum just deleted a thread about people who think the new Knight skin for warcraft III suck compared to warcraft II and should be changed, Sorry I didnt know the forum runs on communist doctrine on free speech.

I haven't regularly read the B.Net forum since 1998... I liked the forum a lot when I was there regularly in '97 and '98, but after SC came out I stopped going to the official forum and went to more fansites... it, like any forum with huge numbers of users, has so many stupid people and threads and fills pages REALLY REALLY fast... not that great.
But I fully support GF banning people for saying dumb things like that. Yeah, it does seem heavy-handed, but to keep order with that many users you really do need strict rules...
Gf deletes threads about people happy over thier new icons or posts counts, and gets mad saying he will remove posts counts, but then goes and celebrates his own post counts and Icons.
my feelings.I am know I am harsh but he has baned me twice for such minor things,such as calling a guy a noob for saying such a stupid post and i wasint alone in doing so, That guy said blizzard sucks ! Yet we get baned for defending blizzard.
my opinion on this if he is gonna ban me over that why not ban every tom dick and hairy who plays warcraftIII while he is at it, suprisingly I sent a letter to his boss in complaint and he unbaned me.
next time the TFT music thread , I get baned for asking about the music, Ok my timing was bad but I didnt break any rules, G.fraiser just didnt care if he baned someone who was innocent if it meant banning 10 of the real offenders.
ok he didnt ban me this time, but deleting that thread was not very nice and it waisnt even nearly as bad as the threads poping shouting "fuck you blizzard" ect...
But why I continue to go there despite this well I wouldnt have ever seen the Shokata movie maker or the mentos mockery movie which you all happily enjoy if I didnt go to b.net forums.

Were any of those things against the rules? Banned people ALWAYS act like they didn't do stuff nearly as bad as they actually did...
And as I said with that number of members you really do have to crack down on security if you want any. And Blizz finds that important...
I did like my time there. Otherwise I'd never heard of Operation CWAL... those were great stories. Though I wouldn't expect anyone else here to know what I am talking about...
The first time as unfair as it was G.F had a excuss,
but the second time was what did it since I had never broken any rules or even said anything nasty that day, he just clicked and baned me because my posts looked like a TFT prerelease spoiler thread, It was titled , "TFT music" 5 mins later I am baned untill I actually get a new cd key for my TFT copy. I had said in that thread for people to not spoil the game , I had heard some people got a sound track of TFT when they preorderd like some people got posters , I figured it cant be spoiling if blizzard released the music already.
but hopefully that wont happen again, I will be more careful in the titles of my threads and when i post them.
but we had a guy post screens from the ending just 10 mins later and he waisnt even baned since G.fraiser didnt notice , So that was unfair so I sent letters to every warcraft III fansite to tell my story.
