Review. It sounds like a solid modern-day revamp of the classic Mega Man series style... interesting that they'd go back to the basics after years of doing MMX. It looks okay... I might get it, or at least rent it. :)
I've heard nothing but bad things about this game.
Try reading reviews. I've read four now, and they vary from about 6.5 to 8.0... not a great game, but decent.

What are the biggest complaints? Well, lets see.

1) its too hard

2) graphics aren't good enough

3) you almost have to be a fan of the (original) series to like it

And that's about it... except for some minor complaints about the 'chip' powerup system.

Which makes me think "this might be good"... since I like the series and think that platformers are too easy now. :)
Why settle for this piece of crap when you have dozens of other MM games to play?
Because it looks like its a good, solid, fun challenging Mega Man game, perhaps? When those are the complaints, I see nothing that says its bad... Confused
6.7 is a bad score. Who gave it an 8?
I didn't say it was great, just that most of their complaints don't seem that bad to me...

MM:NT got a 6.7 from GameSpot as well, actually. Maybe it didn't get an 8, not sure. I believe it got a 6.5 at Gamespy, though.

The point is though that the reviews didn't confirm the fears I had that it would be tired and bad... actually, they made me think that it'd be better than I expected...

Ah, there we are! I was wrong. Gamespy gives it an 82%.

But gamespy sucks...
How so? I think its okay... and the review is good. Try reading it, both pages. :)

PGC gives it a 7.5. Not bad...

Oh, and I'll be going away for a few days. I'll be back sunday or monday.
