It's back, it uses (mostly) muppet based technology (and they look even better than the originals), and once again we get to see this movie that- let's face it- kind of inspired most of the world building in the Final Fantasy games (at least 1-5, 9, Crystal Chronicles, and probably a bunch of others).
I was confused by the existence of the Switch Dark Crystal Tactics game that was announced at Nintendo's Direct least week; like, why make a game based on a movie from like 30 years ago? Weird... neat I guess, but weird. The game looks okay.
Now, yesterday I learn that there's a new show, apparently, on Netflix. That makes the existence of the Switch game make a lot more sense...
Although Netflix still isn't on the switch yet. Hopefully that gets resolved soon.
