Here's a hateful fool that just so happens to have been a huge fan of Sierra. That's got to be some high grade cognitive dissonance, a misogynist that all the same loved a game company with an internal culture supportive of women. By the end, every last person he asked for an interview turned him down, and all for the same reason, his hateful views of women and his past rants on Anita Sarkesian.

I didn't hear about this, but it looks like at least one alt-right hater got the lack of success and attention that they deserve... good.

On the note of the Coles though, their game, Hero-U, which was kickstarted years ago and has been delayed for several years now, is FINALLY nearing completion. It's in final alpha and they say it should release in April... I hope so, it's been a long time.
I hope so! Sierra's former staff have so far turned out to be pretty solid people. Even their big breakup of the two from Andromeda seems to have finally mended itself. Heck, even the creators of Leisure Suit Larry wanted NOTHING to do with this guy!

If both of those groups can churn out some Kickstarter success stories, I'll only adore them more.
Yeah, the only one I've heard a negative story about recently is, actually, Ken Williams. See this Waypoint story about how he was behind the making of Darryl F. Gates Police Quest IV: Open Season: https://waypoint.vice.com/en_us/article/...of-the-90s

Fortunately that's not a series I ever played, or much wanted to... but yeah, making a game with that guy definitely was not great.
Hahaha I love HBomberGuy. This one's a classic:

Very interesting! Yeah Ken really backed the wrong horse with that one, and insistently so! It goes along with their poor business decisions later when they were bought out by a property management company in another country. Ken was progressive in a lot of ways, but when he made mistakes he stuck with them too long. Worse though, was Gates himself.

I do still recommend the first 3 police quest games. They've got a lot of dry procedural to them, but the underlying theme of "keep police power in check" is strong throughout, unlike later entries, especially the SWAT sub-series that just changed the whole genre to "shoot them all dead".

He's fun, though his game reviews leave a lot to be desired. He just doens't go into those with the same level of detail as videos like the ones we posted, and they suffer heavily for it. His review of Dark Souls 2 is... not good. Someone put together a 10 hour rebuttal. I can't recommend actually watching the entirety of that rereview, as I have, and I suspect the person who made the rebuttal isn't exactly progressive, but it does demonstrate even our favorite bomberman has blind spots. Oh well, I don't really get all that upset about video game reviews I disagree with.
