I had a cat that loved licking paper, like the edges. It was the only cat I ever knew who did that. I really had to be careful with my books. This cat also seemed to enjoy "sweet" things, even though I know biologically that cats have a damaged "sweet tooth" gene and shouldn't even be able to detect sweetness.
