So that's cool. I guess these days I just assume ALL movies are owned by someone somewhere that'll be mad at me.

Night of the Living Dead went public domain by accident because someone forgot to refile the copyright.

Also, there are a lot of movies from the 30's and 40's that are public domain, not many since then though.
