Until Zelda SS releases in the US... now sure, I won't be getting it day one, but I am really looking forward to it. It sounds like it could be an incredible game, the game's so different from what we expect from Zelda in some important ways, but it sounds just as great. I have very low expectations from the story, but from the gameplay, I'm expecting great things...

Oh, for anyone who didn't hear, there's also going to be a $70 special edition that comes with a golden Wiimote+. Too bad there probably won't be a golden nunchuck to go with it...

On that note though, it's pretty annoying how NoA released blue and pink Wiimote and Wiimote+es, but did not release Nunchucks to go with them. One of my controllers is a blue Wiimote+, I wish there was a matching Nunchuk for it.

(I probably won't get the gold controller, though it'd be cool... I already have four Wiimotes, after all. Two black regular ones with black nunchucks and Wii Motion+ addons, one red Wiimote+ with red nunchuck (so lucky to find those used for no more than normal controllers...), and a blue Wiimote+ with white nunchuck. Oh, and one Zapper. I've been considering getting a second, but haven't yet. Of course though, the only Zapper game I actually own is Link's Crossbow Training... somehow I don't have any of the other Wii lightgun-style games yet.

But yeah, SS... a lot of things about the gameplay of this one sounds interesting, from the big open world overworld which you will have to revisit parts of as you progress, to the flight element to the game with the sky-based main town, etc...
I only have two wii remotes. I may pick this up to get the extra controller at a discount, plus it's a "motion plus" one.

The story sounds interesting to me. I always liked Zelda storylines myself (excepting 3 obvious ones). Sure, they're cliche and simple, but to me it's how it's told. Besides, some of them had some rather different ideas, like Link's Awakening (which I'm currently playing yet again).
The Wii Remote+ is great, having to have that Motion+ addon attached to the controller some of the time was pretty annoying, particularly with the different different slipcovers they use too. It's much easier with the Wiimote that has the Motion+ built in, it just works as normal but with motion+ for the (unfortunately few) games that support it.

As for Zelda stories, I would say that LA has the best story ever in a Zelda game... other than that they're varying degrees of okay to awful. But with how much TP's story disappointed me, and if you remember it did, a lot, I'm not going to make THAT mistake again... and I see no reason to, I've seen nothing suggesting that the story will be anything special. I assume that there'll be some interesting parts to it, some not so good parts, and we'll have to rescue Zelda at some point, yet again (that got old years ago...). The gameplay is getting the clear focus though. And that's good, because the gameplay is what's looking great.
Majora's mask obviously has the best story Jesus Christ. LA is masterful but its actual main story was:

MY BOAT WHO'S HOUSE IS THIS LOL UR ZELDA WTF J/K WHERE MY SWORD *GET* KOOL HEY LOOK AN OWL

That wasn't Zelda, it was Malon or Maron or whatever Japan calls an RL.
