I hadn't noticed that, but I think you're right. Still, it's a welcome change from that god damn record scratch.
Then again, in principle it's more annoying, if the implication is that the trailer is telling you what your own reaction should be, sorta like a laugh track. But the sound usually comes from other characters reacting to the main character, no? I can't think of any specific examples.

95% of trailers are the awful product of marketing teams, so I don't expect any sort of quality anyway.

I think it would be better if they just replaced all movie previews with this:
<object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SJixW2u4IvQ&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SJixW2u4IvQ&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>
Yes, exactly that each time, with one title card at the end.
