With a Motion+ and Wii Sports Resort added to the package too, in addition to what the old package had. (ie it also has Wii Sports). Very cool, when I get a Wii that'll definitely be the version I want... I always wanted the black Wii more than the white one. :)
I think my white Wii is a nice offset to my black PS3, so I like it. I believe they're putting the Motion Plus thing in the white package as well, so it's just a color choice for people.

It's nice the system is now in stock often enough they can finally provide some options to people.
Europe got this package five or six months ago, and Japan around then or before. I've been wondering when they'd get around to finally releasing it here...

As for Wii Sports Resort and the Motion+ being included in the white Wii box too, that does sound likely. I mean, you can't charge $200 for a system with one game and no motionplus, and the same price for another one with an additional game and motionplus. That wouldn't make any sense. They'll need to add it to the white system too, yeah.
The answer to that is "eventually". It is a little surprising it got to Europe "land where fun goes to die" before us though.
I agree, Europe doesn't often get things first... once in a rare while they do, though. The Tingle DS game actually came out in Europe for example, and Terranigma for the SNES, and plenty of other games we didn't get... there certainly are many, many more games released in the US but not Europe than Europe but not the US, but it's not all one way.
Don't remind me about the Tingle RPG... There's a Zelda thing that exists, and yet I lack it!

I may end up importing the European version, since the DS doesn't have region lock on it's cart games (no don't bring up the downloadable software ABF, I know you want to, we all know that all the time).

Actually, some DS games are now using DSi "support" solely for DSi region protection, and not to add any features. For instance, the new Sonic Classics collection does this.

It's not just download games and the very few DSi-only games anymore.
