To anyone that uses Chrome: is it working? One day, I noticed that Chrome stopped working for me. So much so, that the main page doesn't even load. Whenever I boot the browser up, it just says "loading..." on the tab bar. Anyone else having the same problem?
It works just fine for me.
All's well.
dont uninstall yet, check your parameters in the proxy settings.
^...Meaning?
How do I check my proxy settings?
tools > options > under the hood

Network > change proxy settings > internet properties

lan settings

deselect "auto detect settings"
On most modern routers auto detecting works just fine though. That's more of an early 2000's bit of advice.
No DJ, Google Chrome has several issues with its proxy settings and inability to work with anti virus programs. In fact Undead, if the change in proxy settings dont do it, manually turn off your anti-virus programs. If all else fails, use a program to specifically delete all files for chrome, then reinstall the latest version. But a lot of people have done that and ended up with the same problem.

If you let it load, will the page eventually come up? (on a secure page like google?)
^I'm currently using AVG anti-virus. What's strange is that the browswer was fine even when the program was installed.

If I remember correctly, the program started to go haywire after my computer got infected with a nasty virus. Chrome must have been brutally damaged by it to have suddenly ceased proper function like this.
Oh dude, it's malware. Stop looking at zoophilia child porn and German vomit bukkake you sick, twisted person. Clear your cache and scan chrome specifically, if you're like me you have at least two antivirus progs on so start scanning there. Your webpage cant load because the phishermenz are collecting data on what sites you visit so they can send you more zoophilia child porn and German vomit bukkake you sick, twisted person.

In the meantime download Crap Cleaner (CCLEANER) and Anti-Vir and run them accordingly.
Try the proxy settings first, then turn off all your firewall and anti virus, then attempt to connect.

If no dice its mal-wolves and deep C drive phishing, if you can tell me the name of the attack I can probably tell you how to manually delete and remove it from the registry.
