Etoven I'm actually interested in some updates to the quote tag we've got in place. The first problem is a simple one, that the "show" button doesn't switch to "hide" allowing one to reverse it. The second is a problem that's a little more fundamental in how it's coded. That is, clicking "show" shows ALL spoiler tags on a page, which can really be a problem if you only wanted to view ONE spoiler.
looks geuwd so far, what are you using? I did a virtual set a while back for an experiment and had a live spider walk through a destroyed city, can you layer in photochops of real images? I dont know what program you're using...

If you wanna do the spider experiment (you can use any anything, people too) Take your talent shots first, that makes life easier. So just walk normal and destroy (invisible) things normally (use posty notes for reference of where the specific things are) then just slow yourself down. You can do it in software but your camera might let you ramp it so you get smooth slow playback. Buy some bright blue or green sheets and get some construction lights (the kind they use on the road side) to light the sheets evenly so you can replace the background and foregrounds. Now just mark them off for reference of where the edges of the city is, what's a river, what's the break in city to skyline and any ratios you might have to deal with (like for tricky camera angles or 'following' cam moves).

if you do your set and your explosives you'll be spending hours trying to match up your talent to your creation, so do the talent first! I like your holodeck, why not add some more props?

I used Adobe After Effects to create the scene.
I also ordered a green screen the other day, its (10x12 feet). I should be here on Friday... Then the fun begins...
