Best known for his role Kwai Chang Caine in the tv series "Kung Fu" in the 70's and its later 90's spin off Kung Fu the legend continues were he played a descendant of his original character.

He was found hung up dead yesterday , The police think he hanged himself , Although I still think its possible he may have been murdered you never know.

Does this mean he'll get the Heath Ledger treatment and win an Oscar?
I highly doubt David Caradines performance in "Crank High voltage" is Oscar worthy material even with a sympathy vote.

David Caradine would have to play in a controversial flick involving Gay cowboys before hand, Lose the oscar win over politics and then have AMPAS owe you one .
I heard that his apparent suicide was actually accidental as he was trying some strange form of sexual stimulation that involves cutting off oxygen to the brain.

The fuck! :S
Autoerotic asphyxiation? I've heard of it... and yeah, if done without somebody else around (to watch and make sure nothing goes wrong), it's very easy to accidentally die. So stupid and dangerous... sad if true, though.
Now that's gotta be an odd request.

"Hey could you spot me while I choke myself while choking myself?"

"...Haha, holy damnit christmas, no way man. Oh our lady of what the hell, seriously, no way... ahahaha..."

"Hmm... well you don't have be so uptight about it."

Besides even with a spotter that's gotta be dangerous. There's not exactly a large amount of literature on the topic of safe methods of doing such a thing.

I'm getting ahead of myself here though. We really ought to stick with whatever reports come directly from the police team investigating his death and not run around the rumor mill. "You never know" is not really a good way to go about life. It's not like every one of these are equally probable. When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.
It could be unicorns!

It could be!

Well, it'd generally be with another person who likes it I imagine, and they'd take turns or something...

But really, even when doing stupid things, the danger aspect doesn't seem to cross people's minds, really. Threat of jail doesn't often seem to deter criminals. People sniff glue, or paint thinner, or aerosols, or other things like that, and it coats their lungs and can kill without warning. Most people know that. They just either don't care or think 'it won't happen to me'... it's not too different here, particularly for people doing it on their own (it's easy to pass out without noticing, evidently... every so often in the news you hear of someone who died doing this. It's usually a young person, though... but obviously not always.). But yes, even with another person of course it's still quite dangerous, just a bit less so. Accidental serious injury or death would of course still be quite possible.

True, of course.

Or with maybe a hooker, which are pretty easy to come by in Thailand. Is it that unlikely that Carradine hired a hooker, asked her to do some weird shit, and then she got scared and ran when things started to go wrong? Maybe Carradine had a heart attack (he was 73 after all, and it hasn't been confirmed that he died from asphyxiation) or maybe he really did choke to death, but the fact is, he was tied up from his cock and balls when he was found dead. He was a pretty kinky old man, that much is clear.
Given that his hands were tied behind his back, The scared hooker theory might very well be true.

You'd think the hotel cameras would have caught David in the halls with a women or a man "you never know".

Sado masochism that's some freaky shit
Can't sex toy manufacturers just make a device that automatically releases the neck after X amount of time? :S
hahahaha...... hahahahaa ;DDDDD

Goodbye old friend, your death was as awesome as your life.
Quote:It was the continuation of abhorrent and deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly," the papers, filed in 2003, alleged. "His deviate behavior includes an incestuous relationship with a very close family member, which permeated our marriage. This is to his admission and the admission of the person involved."

Marina -- who was David's fourth wife -- would not comment on the allegations to Access, except to say that she stood by the paperwork.

"That was never meant to get out," she said. "All I can say is that I hold by my document."

Instead, Marina wanted to remember happier times with her ex.

"I have great memories of him, in spite of other stuff," she said. "The most fun we had was away from everybody, away from Hollywood. That was just heaven."

Asked if it was a love-hate relationship, she said, "It was never hate."

"It was more hurt than ever hate," she said. "I don't go there, especially not with him."

As his manager, she helped steer him toward his role in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" films, which helped introduce him to a new generation and led to a full slate of film work in the following years. At the time of his death, he was filming "Stretch" and had several more projects lined - something Marina said would have satisfied the star.

"He was his happiest when he worked," she said, adding that the actor also pursued music and designed jewelry for her.

"Our favorite song was 'Rain or Shine' and he would just sit at the piano and sing it for me to cheer me up," she said.

Marina is working on a book about her life, and while she's writing about David, she promised it wouldn't be a tell-all.

"The book... was for me, it was my healing," she said, adding that it may still shed some light on the mysterious star. "There is truth in there, yeah. He liked to keep people on the edge and you know, in mystery."

He died happy and horny probably fantasying about his attractive cousin.
Dear God he's just an amazing badass.
