Do I need to get out the BAN wagon?
I think I do... :)
Ideally they'd both realize they are acting like idiots and simply accept their current territories willingly, realizing there's no reason they can't still vacation to their various religious sites, and working from there as one, instead of fighting like it's some zero sum game based entirely on some notion of getting what's their's. Instead, they continually fight for no good reason.
The Arabs have done a absolutely abysmal job of presenting their side of the story.

Personally , I think the way Israel was created was unethical.

Judea gets conquered by the Roman Empire, Puppet Herodic dynasty installed. Roman emperor orders the construction of pagan temples In Jerusalem to the roman god Jupiter , Jews break out into riots in reaction. Emperor Hadrian Aurelius gives a edict banning the practice of circumcision in the empire which breaks the last the straw with the Jewish people leading to open war, General Titus sacks Jerusalem and crushes rebel forces. Simon Bar Kokhba marshals a new Jewish rebel army to retake the promised land from Roman hands, Bar Kokhba is defeated and crucified. Hadrian abolishes the existence of Judea and redubs it "Palestinia" or Philistine, Jews are banned from entering Jerusalem.

New peoples settle into Palestine and establish a new post Judean society. Thousands of years later , The Jewish people suffer a holocaust with six million dead. Zionist Israeli nationalist move to wage a guerrilla war to force the establish of a Jewish state, Mandate is put in place. The Arabs are expelled from their lands and forced into refugee camps to make room for Jewish settlers.

Atrocities against Arabs are committed by Jewish militias like Irgun, Who hurl hand grenades into crowds of Arabs in the market places in towns like Haifa.Irgun/Lehi also bombed the King David Hotel in 1946 which was being used as the headquarters of the British mandate which resulted in the death of 91 people ,46 of which were British. Then the same Jewish militias massacred a arab village called Deir Yassin killing 107-120.

There has been many facts not omitted about Israel I have only skimmed the surface.

Its true that Arabs have not helped there own cause by having bloody reprisals and blackening themselves with their own gruesome acts.
Wait, so we're allowed to talk about Jews and Muslims but newbie isn't allowed?
It was a really, really long post, posted in many places I'm sure, and obviously meant as spam and not a real post... it could potentially have been left, though, yeah. I don't know if I would have deleted it.

Do you know how incredibly unlikely that is? By now, after so long, that's just not going to happen. You can't spend 60 years building up this stuff and then suddenly expect it to all disappear.

I mean, both sides are dominated by religious zealots. Religious zealots are not often going to negotiate and give up anything to the other side easily... and also, they want the same land. To many of them it is a zero-sum game.

Those refugee camps only still exist because the Arab governments who run them want the Palestinians angry at Israel. There is absolutely no logical explanation for "refugee" camps that are still there sixty years later! It just makes absolutely no sense... except when you consider that they are there to keep the people in poverty and ignorance. Poverty and ignorance are the two strongest things pushing Palestinians into hatred of Israel... and while the Israeli government has certainly done some things to further that, the Arab governments have too. Neither side really wants peace.

As for violence, both sides have done many horrible things.

It was a bot post full of mostly unintelligible garbage, imbedded Youtube videos, and odd formatting choices.

I've said that the Arabs often are their own worse enemy.

The Moslem establishment is not focussed on bettering the welfare of Palestinians and righting injustices, In reality it is the total elimination of the Jewish nation state that is the expressed objective and Palestinians are merely pawns. They regard Israel as a unwanted impure presence on their realm, Which is why they rejected the idea of allowing a Jewish nation in Palestine to be established from day one.

There is no doubt that expansionist ambitions for a greater Israel is the quiet goal of those in power in Tel Aviv , More shocking is that former members of Irgun and nehi who are war criminals sit in office like the late prime Ministry Ariel Sharon.

The west bank settlements, checkpoints, military installations, outposts are all part of a plan to shew the inhabitants of Palestine into leaving as they have come to the conclusions that the Arabs are unappeasable.

We have ignored this conflict for to long, It is the greatest grievance that feeds terrorism.
Perhaps this should be moved to the debate forum

I regret bringing this up, Them Hebrews will defend my ass those Palestinians are more likely to chop it off. Ive tried that free the Palestinian stuff, When come down to it I wont help people who call me they're enemy solely because I don't believe in their imaginary sky daddy.

Now do I think the U.S should give unconditional support of Israel? NO.
