Think about it... this is a simply incomprehensible amount. Four thousand dollars a second? ......... what can be said... the amount of money being wasted, flushed down the drain... corruption, graft, funding of mercenaries with free licenses to kill anyone they choose to, and everything else... hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars, all of it borrowed from overseas lenders, most obviously China. And people wonder why our economy is in trouble?

I am ashamed that in 2003 I flirted with the pro war side, At that time I seriously thought there was weapons of mass destruction and I was very naive to the realities of war, Our generation has been living in relative peace. If I had a better understanding of Islam back then I would have known what kind reaction and result would come from the war ,As the invasion is perceived as a attack on their Ummah the Moslem global body,Every moslem with a stomach for jihad would swarm to attack and disrupt the operations in Iraq.
I think the U.S would have had a easier time had the target been some Latin American country, There would be guerrilla resisters but not to the extent you would have from a Moslem's country. Religious fervor mixed with war are a deadly combination. I think a postwar in North Korea would have been easier and more straight forward and justifiable then Iraq, Given that NK is the sole axis of evil state to be in possession of nuclear weapons.
Something that Ron Paul has brought up what are the agrivations that trigger and justify terrorism? The unconditional support of Israel!! Why don't you pressure Israel to end the illegal settlements in the west bank? Why do you send money and weapons to the Arab states?!! While subsidizing Israel? Is America a weapons dealer trying to make a cut on both sides?

I think the U.S backing of a Kosovo state is also going to backfire, The Serbs in Bosnia wish to seperate and rejoin Serbia leading to another conflict.Large communities of Albanians live in Montenegro,Republic of Macedonia,Croatia,Slovenia,Greece so it has caused animosity. Albanians in the past allied themselves with the Fascist axis states in world war 2 in the hopes of expanding their territory and there was a backlash towards the Albanians after the war in reprisal for atrocities committed.
