So...why doesn't anyone else have this yet?

First off, it's a lightgun game. Everyone knows that, I assume. But, it's got a ton of content. Just the train incident [RE0] took me about an hour to complete and that's just a small part of the game.

There's several different weapons you can get throughout the game from shotguns to grenade launchers. You get extra ammo by finding more of the weapons in the level, usually by shooting different objects like vases and crates. You can also upgrade the weapons using credits you gain based on how well you complete each level. Weapons switching is done in realtime and by pressing the a button you can bring up your knife for close-range melee attacks.

Graphics aren't spectular, but they're good enough. The music, when it shows up, is really great and fits the mood. And, most importantly, it's just fun to play.

In all, it could be better, but it's worth owning, especially if you have someone to play it with.
Eh for me on-rails shooter games are the things I spend a few quarters on while waiting for a movie to start.
I don't remember - is this on a rail? If so, count me out. If not... count me out. I haven't even finished Mario Galaxy yet.
Make sure you get all 120 stars. It is definitely worth it in this game. And Umbrella Chronicles sounds interesting, but I have too many games on my plate right now...well, for me, two is too many. I might pick it up eventually since I've always liked the on-rails lights gun games.

Umbrella Chronicles has a lot more substance than any of those games.
Beaten like a stepchild on the rails part (serves me right for not looking at the thread again after posting).

Anyway, I'd try it for the fun of it, but I'd be surprised if I got into a game like that. Maybe if I ever start renting video games somewhere, I'll give it a shot.

DMiller: I just beat the game for the first time tonight, actually. Before that, I went back to the original planet and found out you can fly... holy crap. I know I'm behind, but that was a really cool moment. The game is definitely good enough to warrant playing 120 stars through.
I gave it a rent, it's good but not great. I might snag a copy when the price goes down, or if I find it used.

Being able to fly around was great, but I wish they would have used it more. And the game is good enough to get all 120 stars, but the bonus at the end is even better. It's much better than getting 99 lives from Yoshi.
The game is good enough to play through completely without a good reward, but thank you for the added motivation. :) I'm sure that will get me through a few incredibly difficult levels towards the end.
RE:UC is awesome. It's the the only 'lightgun' game i've ever played with a much depth as it has and it feels like an RE game. Some of the story elements got jumlbed but eh, it's overlooked.
