What did blizzard call itself at that time?Prior to warcraft orcs and humans.
I must say the music and sound FX are excellent in the lost vikings.

Until the release of Blackthorne (or maybe Death & Return of Superman, I'm not sure which one was first...), Blizzard was known as Silicon & Synapse... its what they are called in the original version of Lost VIkings (published by Interplay).

Played that demo... the memories... You know that music it plays right at the beginning? The first part of the music? I can still remember that music even though I've barely played the game in many years... for some reason it stuck in my head... but I associate it with the Interplay logo primarially (as well as the main start screen) because it started during that logo in the game...
The controls sure are simplified from the original version... that one had a button for talk/activate button you are at (instead of pressing up), buttons to control and use the inventory, and a inventory that took up a big bottom bar on the screen... each character can hold 4 items and you can switch items between characters... oh, and the health for all 3 vikings was always on screen with their inventories. I wonder how the full GBA game will handle inventory without a big bar to put it in... you have to have it and have it accessible (with a button to use the selected inventory item and another to choose an item (or throw it away), or at least that's how the game does it in the original version)...
