Well, this is weird. I logged into my Japanese account on Xbox Live today (it STILL WORKS) and found a playable demo of Eternal Sonata, the upcoming RPG of AWESOME where the battle system is based on MUSIC. You can't get it using a US account, I checked. But, oddly enough, when I play it, it shows the US rating system and the entire demo is in english. Maybe it detected my system's location code and has an english translation built in that's sensitive to that.
Is it good?
Well, it is an RPG of AWESOME...
AWESOME is an acronym. The A stands for AWESOME. The W stands for the W in AWESOME. And... it goes on like that due to a failure of imagination.

Yes, it is good. Since you consider it so important ABF, yes you can run around during the fights. Mind you, it isn't AS important as certain other things but basically your position determines what moves you can do and where you are relative to the enemy (back attacks and so on) and also light and shadow are important (enemies transform and your moves transform in the light and shadow). The moment you start moving, a timer counts down. Everything you do must be done in that amount of time. Further, a special move uses up "notes". These are built up using normal attacks, and are shared by the party.
