Man, Excite Truck is all kinds of awesome. It's got some really good graphics, some insane jumps, huge wrecks, high speeds, crashing through trees, everything you want in an arcade racer. I've already gotten through the first two cups on Excite mode and I cannot get enough of this game!!

The only thing I would dock it for is the multiplayer. It's 2 player max with no online mode, that hurts it in my opinion. Other than that, it's sweet-tastic.
From what I've seen, a bigger problem than the 2 player max is the fact that there are no computer opponents in multiplayer. That always ruins multiplayer racing games for me, it's not much fun most of the time with just the two humans on the course... that happened all the time on the N64. Even then there were games that did better (Wipeout 64's 2-player mode, for instance), and now it's even rarer, but it's never been acceptable... :(

Yeah, that was case. From what I've seen from playing it, they probably put the bulk of their time into getting the controls down and making it fun to play, while multiplayer was just something that kind of tacked on at the end. Hopefully, we'll see another Excite Truck somewhere down the line with a legitimate multiplayer, preferably including online.
The next game should be Excite Truck/Excite Bike. Motorstorm has both no reason for Excite Truck 2 not to.
*bump*

I finally got Excite Truck, after all this time of meaning to this was the first opportunity I had to actually buy it. So I did. And it rocks. Hard.

That is all.
Seems iffy to me.

I finally got to play a Wii for the first time... um... 3 weeks ago? My buddy Ben's brother had one. I played Golf, which I thought was pretty cool, but it's disappointing that with Tennis, you can't manually move the player around. WTF, Nintendo?? You should be able to move them by pointing the controller or with the analog stick, and do a shot by holding down A.
