Quote:* Donkey Kong (NES)
* Legend of Zelda (NES)
* Mario Bros. (NES) -- that's not "Super"
* Soccer (NES)
* Pinball (NES)
* Wario's Woods (NES)
* Solomon's Key (NES)
* F-Zero (SNES)
* Sim City (SNES)
* Altered Beast (GEN)
* Sonic (GEN)
* Super Mario 64 (64)

I have some version of all of those except Soccer, Pinball, Wario's Woods, and Solomon's Key, and those aren't exactly system sellers... we will be steadily getting more though, so the list should quickly grow. And even though I own them if the prices were a bit lower I'm sure I'd re-purchase some of the games I own already anyway... :)
Sarcasm is tough to relay in a thread title.
That's not so amazing. Super Mario Bros. should at least be on there.

Once you read the thread the sarcasm becomes clear... and the weak lineup even more obvious. :(

... oh, the list includes some great games, but only twelve total, and a bunch of them minor NES stuff? Huh?

"Let's choose twelve titles to represent the NES, SNES, Genesis, and N64 for the Virtual Console!"

"I know, NES Soccer!"

... erm...
For some reason, I kind of want Super Mario 64...
That's the last one on that list I'd get, with the controller problems...
Somebody better release an N64 controller for Wii.
If that happens then I might consider Mario 64 Wii... as it is though, the only N64 games really worth getting at this point are the ones we probably won't see: import-only titles. Sin & Punishment, most importantly. I know it's easy to play them on US N64s, but I'd have to get it online and it'd be somewhat expensive...

Good video, watch... it shows a fact I only learned earlier today: VC games have interrupt save! It's not true quicksaving because it's only one file and the save is deleted when you return to the game, but even so, that's a great feature...

They will also eventually need to deal with the main menu -- one icon on the main menu for each game? Get a bunch of them and that'd be a real pain to navigate...
