GR showed me this, and I'm not sure if he posted it elsewhere, but it speaks volumes. It's the video of the doors opened at E3. Nintendo's Booth is on the right, while Sony's is on the left. Where do you think everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) goes?

GO NOW
Wii!!
I was wondering. Zelda Wii version... You WILL be able to use a normal Gamecube controller to play the game if you so choose right? I mean, I want the better version AND the ability to use either control method. I say this because reviews indicate that, for the most part, the Remote control in that game is lackluster as it was designed around a normal controller. So, much like I'd rather use an analog stick for Mario 64, I would rather use the Gamecube controller for TP Wii.
I expect that the Wii version will be Wii controller only... it's the kind of thing Nintendo would do.

Video of The Line. Amazing...

Another video of the line. Longer video, but I think it's because they go slower...

But that's just silly!
Why would they release two versions if you could just use the GC controller while playing it on the Wii?
I'm not sure that made any sense at all. They released two versions because the Wii one seems to need that extra storage space for "Thy graphics" and a bunch of extra stuff. They have no reason to limit what you can do with the Wii version. Why release two versions when it would be easy to store "mere control additions" to a SINGLE version that can be played on both?
Because making you buy two versions of the game means they make more money?
I like defeated looks on the faces of the Sony booth monkeys.
lmao

Sony in the background: ....it TILTS! srsly! .... :(
That line is appalling! It just kept on going! Those people waited that long to play for, what? 15 minutes?

I'D HAVE DONE IT TOO.

Just have to make sure my DS is charged up beforehand :D.
I wouldn't have. Don't get me wrong, I like Nintendo and all, but it was either demo one or two games or demo a LOT more. Maybe if I could sneak in with an elaborate disguise, LIKE A BOX!
That's exactly what DJ did! Look, proof!!

Nintendo really stepped up security this year...
I would totally go to E3 and wait in line for several hours to play Super Mario Galaxy before everyone else.
The NINjas were in full force. By the way, as it turns out if you are going to wear a box, it helps not to move in it RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. Turns out, they can figure that out (even if they can't figure out that "The Orange" is a very engrish sounding made up company).
As the cameraman said in the longer video, that was probably the craziest DS Lan Party EVAR! People were probably going all out in Mario Kart, Meteos, Tetris, Brain Age, Mario 64, Hunters, and I'll bet even the Pictochat rooms were lively!

Hell, that would have made the line ITSELF fun to be in, even without the propect of playing a Wii at the end of it!
Maybe, but that's hardly why one goes there. One can go to a convention for a similar experience.

Brain Age has multiplayer?

Yes.
Hope you took your GBA too, or a second battery, because between the four to six hour wait to get into the booth and the half hour to an hour lines on the popular games (Mario, Zelda...), you'll drain that poor DSes batteries... :)

But yeah, basically it seems like everyone in the building wanted to be in one place: Nintendo's booth. And there's nothing anyone could do about it to reduce those lines...

Bingo!
I think something's up.

Nintendo let slip that Zelda: TP for GC will only be released in America, wiith Japan and europe only getting the Wii version. This means America will have both versions, this *probably* means that TP for GC is going to be given away most likely from Wii Preorders but it definitely means that it was made in very short supply. Who'd have thought the GC version would be the hard one to find? :D

I'm definitely getting both versions, especially since Wii will be in the living room and the GC will be in the bedroom.
