I hope this isn't the real deal...
Judging from the top of the page reading "Concept logos", I'd say no.

Besides, even if it were, it's not so bad. Could certainly be worse.
Something tells me that's fake. Not really sure what, but I just have an inkling that isn't real.
Very, very old news... from last June, to be specific.

New news about this logo would be this: Blitz Games, which recently announced it was working on a Revolution title, used one of those on their Corporate page (http://www.blitzgames.com/ , Corporate button)

From http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/top/revolut...154695.php
I saw this a long time ago on GAF. It's rather fake.
GR: If it's fake, why does a recently-announced-as-liscenced Revolution developer have it up as the Revolution logo under 'platforms we are liscenced to develop for'?

Maybe it seemed fake seven or eight months ago when this page first was "leaked", but this new event gives it a bit more credibility...

On the topic of 'true new Revolution information', though, there is this.

Oh come on! If you question if it's real, look at it! There's a check mark on it! That says someone put it there to officiallinate it!

It's real because it SAYS it's real! :D

IGN picked up the blueprints story, without sources or stuff as usual... (ie the link above which links directly to the actual pages)

Anyway, they say that the video out is the same as the GC's component out. But by looking at it, it sure looks different to me... my GC's digital out port has the two diagonal sides on the left and right top, but in that picture the two slanted corners of the port are the two right-hand sides... different...

Anyway, it is dissapointing to see that it won't be compatible with the SNES/N64/GC A/V cable... I know we'd heard this before, but still, it's definitely too bad.

How about reading my posts then?
Its a good thing i already have one of those cables then.

As for the logo, i saw that a loooong time ago and I think it's awesome. It reminds me of th Rare logo except wet. :D Though i'm pretty sure it was confirmed as a fake.

what i dont like is the 'RevOlution' logo with the two disks as the O's. I thought that was cheese
Sigh... so lazy, has anyone clicked on those links? To make it impossible to miss...
I've seen it before ABF, i'm pretty sure it was announced as a fake, regardless of what websites are using the image.

What was that developer that was making Thorndao for the GC? i cant remember... it wasn't Retro was it? well anyway, that developer had the Thornado artwork and etc on display as an upcoming next gen game for "Nintendo's Dolphin". Remember that? We had a thread going on about how 'Dolphin' would be the worst name ever, then we heard 'Star Cube' and realized dolphin didn't sound so bad. :D

heh, I forgot about 'Star Cube'. lol
Just because a website has that logo doesn't mean it's real. It just means they need SOMETHING there.
Sure, it well might be fake, or not the final logo... but it's a nice logo, and looks better in that shot (with color and all) than it does in the black & white scan above.
My take? I think Nintendo is not going to HAVE a weird graphical symbol for their next system. That's not "in vogue" any more. The Playstation 2 dropped the symbol and went with just the name in a fancy font. The Nintendo DS has no silly graphic, just a clever use of the letters. The Playstation 3 is still going with just a sleak font. The XBox 360, is made by Microsoft... They have "tacky" down.

I predict that the Nintendo Revolution's logo will simply be the title of the system in a sleek font. I prefer that anyway. Graphics are for the birds.
horse cookies! i like symbols, especially the gamcube logo as its a 3-D box with a 'G' and 'C' carved through it. That R logo is twisty 3-D image and i'm willing to bet that if you looked at it at certain angle it would become a circle... I think :D
The PS2 "logo" is so boring though, just the word... the PS3 logo as shown there is only slightly better, but it looks like "PlayStation 3" written in the Spiderman font (the font used for the title in the recent movies...)... blah. Still dull. The Rev and X360 logos are better, just like this generation... I like green, darnit! :) As for the GC, it's clever (how it's a G, a C, and a cube), certainly, but not the perfect logo. Now the N64... that had a good logo. :)
What of the DS? Do you disapprove of that logo as well?

But at any rate, we shall see what they use for a logo. And, when it is selected, I will somehow reshape it into "DJ" for a brand new avatar. Be thankful, or afraid considering that if it is this one, it's already "melty clock" twisted about and my own twisting may just make it 11 dimensional super gravity membrane level of weird.
I think the DS logo is great, with the 360 coming in second. The GC's is clever.

Hehe, man you've had that avatar forever! And it STILL gives me a headache every time I contort myself to try and make out the vague DJ in there!
*brain falls out* i give up.

The N64 is cool because it's a square (4 sides) of an N that makes a 6 sided cube, making it a litteral 6, 4

SNES had the 4 color dots that look exactly like the PSX logo, the dots were based off the Famicom logo which we never got, we just had the 'Nintendo' brand name with the cool circle font.

yunno the more i look at that R, the more i like it. I'm thinking that when you start the machine up, at its boot screen it will start as a line way in the distance that will draw towards the player, then rotate revealing a perfect circle, and continue the rotation until the shape of the R comes out.
Okay i take that back, just made that R out of crumpled paper and if you look at it in a certain way it becomes an N. So I think it will be an 'N' that goes through a revolution to become an R. Pretty snazzy.
