Quote:Nintendo-Revolution.blogspot.com have spoken to Yuji Naka at the Leipzig games convention, where he was asked just how revolutionary the upcoming Nintendo console really would be. He replied that he was "under a strict NDA, so I canĀ“t really say much. But I have seen the Revolution and I think everyone will be very pleasantly surprised, when Nintendo reveal everything."

Encouraging comments from him aside, it shows Nintendo are revealing the technology to some of the people who need to know about it in advance. Chances are that we will see a Sonic title sometime on Revolution due to Sega's support of the GameCube with that particular franchise.

Though for now, we'll just have to speculate how it will end up looking on Nintendo's mysterious upcoming console.

They'd better reveal it soon!!

That actually makes me feel better. Until this point we had really only heard how great Revolution would be from Nintendor PR, Nintendo Press, and Nintendo Fanboys. And you can't really get a good idea from any of those 3.
Yeah...
I wish I was Yuji Naka right now, because I'd ask Shiggy to let me play the Revolution.
I wish Nintendo and Sega would merge. Well maybe not merge because Sega are shit with money and Nintendo are cash wizards, but like Sega could be a first-party developer team.
Sega already got bought by Sammy, though, unfortunately for your plans...
Nintendo could buy Sammy.
Isn't Sammy pretty big though?
I hate to be a stick in the mud, but isn't this what we've been hearing over and over anyway?
Not from people outside of Nintendo.
Yeah... maybe it won't be Virtual Boy II after all... :)

Yeah, Sammy is a pretty big company, and I don't think Nintendo would have the money to buy them out.
apparently sammy is quite large but the only game that i know of that they've released is that dreamcast fighter with the high res character models. i can't think of what it's called though. guilty gear? whatever.
yaaaay revolution!! doesnt look like nintendo is ever going to dominate the console market again, but im feeling good about this revolution. one really great idea is all it will take to set their console apart from the other ones and have it selling like hotcakes to nintendo's niche market, just one really fun, great idea. i love nintendo's casual gamer-easy-to-pick-up-and-feature-multiplayer type games, mario party, tennis, advance wars etc.
Yeah, Guilty Gear. They mostly don't make console games, I think... I think they make a lot of casino games in Japan (pachinko, slot machines, etc)... the video games they made themselves were a smaller part of their business.
