The playable X-Box 360 E3 demos were running on dual Mac G5s! Chuckle

The X-Box 360 people saw in the displays is off and just for show... :D

I mean, I knew that the 360 is more Mac-ish hardware, with that IBM CPU, and the dev systems were mac-based, but it's just as funny now as it was then... Microsoft makes a console. ... and they run it on Mac hardware.

...

Yeah, this makes sense... I mean, I'm not a Mac fan by any means... why? IBM made them a better offer than Intel for the CPUs?
Haha, that's great!
They do say that at least one was actually working, at ATI's booth, but it was running a non-playable demo, not playable stuff... :)

So yeah, no playable real X-Box 360s at E3, it seems. Of course, the other two consoles weren't playable at all, but it's the 360 that's coming out this year, not PS3 or Revolution...
Wow... the only game up and running at 20 fps was PDZ... I hope they know what they're doing.

*MUAHAHAHA!*
They'd better hurry and get it finished!
Yeah, MS didn't quite have the show they were hoping for... not horrible, but not great.
Sony's Cell processor uses IBM technology, right? If so that means all three console makers are using IBM for their main processors.
IBM: *wins*
When you think of technologically advanced graphic chips hardware for your home console or graphics card, think of IBM - "The World's Biggest Slut."
And two of the three have ATI videocards(PS3 doesn't)...
