This site basically sums it up: http://nintendonow.com/index.php?categor...edbc92841c

I don't know what to think. I really, really doubt that Nintendo is going to show anything big tomorrow, but that is partly because I don't want to get my hopes up again. There are some interesting points, though, like those videos that were up at nintendo.com the night before, the weird "Nintendo Now" picture that was just recently changed at nitnendo.com, all of the stuff that the supposedly fake Aries predicted that came true (some really obvious, like SSB Online and wireless controllers, but some not-so-obvious, like being able to play every single Nintendo home console game ever made, and that the press conference would be dissapointing), and the strange comments Iwata and Reggie made at the press conference.

The one thing that I definitely don't buy is the connection to that cool Nintendo On fan-made video.

So, this is all probably nothing. Just a series of weird coincidences. Nothing to get our hopes up for.

Right?
Also, read the past paragraph on this page: http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?arti...e=newsmain

Quote: Word has it a secret alcove can be found deeper within the creature which houses the precious Nintendo Revolution. But gaining access to the Shangri-la of tomorrow’s video game generation is to remain an electronic dream.

what the hell?
And here's what Nintendo's site looked like yesterday:

Something strange is going on here, OB1...
*repeats to himself that it's nothing, absolutely nothing. don't get hyped up!*
*can't wait till Friday* Something had better happen!
You mean thursday.

And here's one of the weird videos that was up on nintendo.com monday night: http://webpages.charter.net/danrarbc64/liz.wmv
I saw that just a few minutes ago at GAF. A lot of weird stuff is happening, I won't say that there has to be something behind it, but...
Alot of people (including me) want that fan video to be real. People are actually saying that the video is not only real, but that the Revolution shown at the conference is a mock made to throw us off for the real one.
Now that I highly doubt. Did you see that video? You had to walk in real-time to walk in the game. Can you imagine doing that? You'd need a pretty big room...

Haha, but imagine seeing someone with that helmet on playing a Mario game, jumping all over the place.

Besides, we already know who made it.
Actually in the video, from what I could understand, you only had to put your foot out in front of you in order for the system to think you're moving forward. Not actually walk.

Put your foot behind you to move back, move your legs to the side to side step, etc. There's real VR that works on that principal as well, where you just move your foot to control your character.
Still... if that turns out to be true I'll give you my car.
if it's true i'll sleep with you.
That Reggie video is frigthening...
Whatever the case is... I doubt any of this is real. It's all coincidence. Fans grasping at straws because they were so let down by the press conference.
Dunno

I guess we'll know tomorrow. *hoping, but not expecting*
Eh... I'm now almost completely certain that nothing is going to happen.

Wait until TGS, I guess...

*sigh*

Being a Nintendo fan is rough, I tell ya.

Wall Guy totally owns.
Nintendo is mean.

Yeah, if you care at all about knowing what they are actually doing...

As for this whole conspiracy theory thing... interesting, to say the least. I don't want to believe it, because it'll get my hopes up when it's doubtful that it's true, but it is interesting for sure...
Why must Nintendo be so secretive? Nobody wants to steal your damn secrets! Watch the big controller secret be the addition of a third analog stick.
So what would the third analog stick control? Gasp! I have it! The third analog stick controls TIME! Oh man, this is the craziest thing ever, with you being able to control the actual flow of TIME there's no limit to what can be done in videogames!
Where did all this start? The article ABF linked to at the beginning was pulled. Why in the world would anyone think there is more to come? Nobody ever does 2 big press conferences at E3.

Quote:Word has it a secret alcove can be found deeper within the creature which houses the precious Nintendo Revolution. But gaining access to the Shangri-la of tomorrow’s video game generation is to remain an electronic dream.

That means to me that Revolution is being shown (in some form, maybe just videos) at E3, but only behind closed doors for special people. Nintendo always has some stuff that they don't show to the general media.

edit: Okay, so OB1 started this thread. I only look at people's avatars, not their name, so I thought it was ABF. I failed to see the Black Knight's baldder control problem
Lol

The article should still be there.
Looks like nothing happened.
Nope.
FRIDAYTON!! *is beaten up*
Haha, yes.
And if not that then: SATURDAYTON!!

...

Am I right, guys? *is beaten up again*
*Preemptively beats up GR for future comments.*
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
What are you guys talking about? The article on Nintendonow is not there. It says "This article is currently offline". Do you really see something?
no...
Well I found the articles from their main page, and I truly think this must be the return of Nintendo Next or Daily Radar. These guys have been watching waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much Alias. I especially like their 2nd update, in which they decide it all must be true simply because they found a Nintendogs image from the conference with the date 5-19 on it! Rofl

And all the talk of Aries' "prophecies" makes me giggle. I think they used prophecy and it's derivatives 6 or more times!
Heh, well it did actually make sense. And they weren't the only ones to believe it, as just about every gaming forum on the net thought it was weird as well.
There were over a thousand posts in the "Thursdayton" thread at GAF.
Heh, you're right LL, that would be a perfect NintendoNext post... :) I actually liked that site, but they did have a tendency to post rumors as news.
Yeah, there certainly were a lot of coincidences and interesting things, but they starting pulling it all together in some pretty wild ways that made it clear to me they wanted to hype it up to get more attention. They were talking about it just being speculation and rumor, which is fine and that is fun stuff to do. But after the Nintendogs image they announced that they were certain it was all fact. There are a lot more reasonable theories as to why the date was off by a couple days than a secret message. That just seems pretty farfetched to me.
And maybe I'm just bitter about Nintendo secrets and rumors after years of letdowns and frustrations, like Luigi Is Real and Green Thwomps in Mario Kart and looking for the Triforce in OoT and Megaton and all the rest. :)
Not that it matters, but I just have a hunch that Nintendo had the DVD of videos ready to go; waiting for the green light to show it off.

Good news though, it looks like Spaceworld's a comin.
