Go, King of All Cosmos! *whoosing sound* *King of All Cosmos destroys the entire world* Man, I can't wait until this game comes out.
I so want to make that picture my wallpaper at work, but I'm afraid that people will think I'm even weirder.
Do it anyway.
...

I'm scared.
King of All Cosmos is awesome.
More than anyone else.
Maybe not more awesome than Bo Jackson, though.
Well... nobody is. You can't count the Bo.
More awesome hilarity (from GAF):

Namco has revealed more on Katamari Damacy 2 at the recently opened official KD2 website.

Katamari Damacy 2 will feature various themed stages, as shown in the new screens below. A classroom stage, a candy stage, a street race stage, and a zoo stage are the known stages at this time.

Once again, you play the role of the Prince. You'll start off each stage with a small ball. Depending on the stage, you might have to roll up enough things to make the ball reach a certain size within the time given, try to get as close to a specified size as you can, or try to get as many of one item as you can. You can only roll up objects that are smaller than the ball; rolling into larger objects that you can't pick up will result in losing items from the ball.

One new feature, seen in the second-to-last screen, is the ability to wear multiple "presents" (things that were given to you by the King in the first game) at one time. We're not sure whether this will have any effect on the gameplay or not.

Katamari Damacy 2 is reportedly about 30% complete. A price has not been announced yet, but we're hoping for another nice $20 price tag. Although it's been confirmed for a North American and European release, no official date has been announced yet. KD2 will be released in Japan in spring of 2005.
