September 21, 2004 - Nintendo has revealed that it will include a demo of Metroid Prime: Hunters with the Nintendo DS system when it launches this November 21st. The demo, titled Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt, will offer a first taste of the entire game, including single player modes of the first -person adventure, as well as a handful of multiplayer modes to take advantage of the system's wireless connectivity. Up to four players can join in Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. The inclusion of a game demo such as Metroid Prime: First Hunt may be a strategy to raise the age of the Nintendo DS' demographic, along with offering more value for the DS' 150 dollar premium. We'll have more on the Nintendo DS soon.

Oh and something that hasn't been officially revealed yet but from what I've heard is definitely true is that Metroid Hunters will have a pretty decent single-player mode. It won't be a typical Metroid adventure, but instead actual bounty hunt missions, like taking down a certain number of enemies per level or just killing some Metroids. Stuff like that. If it's good enough I might actually buy the game. I've always though that a bounty-hunting Metroid game would be pretty cool. Metroid 2 was almost like that.

Built-in PictoChat also sounds like a very good idea for the DS...
As for Metroid Hunters, they redid the controls after E3 as previews say... sounds better. Now it'll be a choice as to whether you want that unique control scheme or a more normal one (hence the screenshots with the two screens flipped from where they were at E3)...
