"We own the IP, and we're interested in developing for the PC." Myzuka then dispelled any notion that Microsoft, eager for Xbox exclusives, would pay BioWare to keep Jade Empire solely on its console. "Microsoft's interested too," he said, all but sealing the deal. "But until it's officially announced, it's not something I can confirm or deny."

I had heard they struck a deal with MS to make it XBox exclusive. I'm not sure MS would look too kindly on this sort of deal... I mean, sure in the end they are making it for another MS system :D, but you know.

Limited exclusivity, I bet. Like many other games which come out on PC after the end of the exclusive period... see Rogue Squadron or GTA3...

Ah, limited... Well, sucks to be MS I guess.

Anyway, this is a pretty different style of RPG, so I'd have to play it a little to decide if I'd rather use a mouse+keyboard control scheme or a control pad.

Yeah it seems like it was made with a gamepad in mind. The combat is real-time, after all.

The combat is real-time in ALL of Bioware's RPGs... :)
