halirious liberal political cartoon, Docter Cheney mauaahhaha!
And once we actually can do fusion in a way that produces power, yes, it'll be a good choice... but for now we can't do that, now can we? :)
It'll be until they finally develop a working cold fusion reactor.
Bush will probably win the election in the US. BUt I'd like to see Kerry win.

In terms of the Canadian election I'm thinking it will be a Liberal minority government. The NDP have would support a minority governemnt if it mean that they would be preventing the conservatives from taking over. All this talk about the Bloc Quebecouis supporting a conservative minority is stupid, I don't belive the Bloc would really do that, and it would be stupid of the Conservatives to accept the support of a seperatist party.
Presting manning made a deal with PQ and the Bloc,If Quebec won the 1995 referendum. Maning would vote a no confidence in Jean Chreitien and have him impeached for failing to keep the country together.Infact Manning had met with Jacque Parizo (whatever) and they made a secret alliance and manning even gave his blessing for quebec to seperate.

If Quebec left, WTF would New brunswick,Nova scotia,P.E.I, New Found land do? They just got seperated from the rest of the country?I think instead of having to deal with the Faucist PQ they would have also seperated and Joined the U.S.A. and I could see New Found Land become independant and its own country like they original wanted to get their bloody oil off shore feilds back.

I always wonderd what would have happend if the sepratist won? Canada would have definently collasped into pieces.

I could see the PQ becoming a Dictatorship and ridding of democracy.Tasting power so quickly and letting it corrupt them further down into hell.
YOu can't just vote no confidence.
When a major bill, such as a buget is defeated then it is considered a vote of no confidence and the Prime Minister will normally call an election.
It wouldn't have mattered if the Reform under Manning and the BQ had voted against Chretien on some issue that would be considered a confidence vote because Chretien's liberals had a majority in Parliment and therefore could not have been defeated in that way.
